Bakantiang Resort

Great rooms but felt abit of a forgotten resort. The part of the island is nice though. Not much shade at the swimming pool and a few ancient chairs/mattresses available. The beach is luckily just 5 min walking distance.

Beautiful, green bungalow complex located on a hillside with sea views. Pool is nice and big. The bungalows on the street in the first row are a bit noisy - but it's still okay. After 2 nights we were able to move to a higher location because the WiFi reception wasn't that good here either. Initial defects (TV didn't work) were listened to and immediately remedied. Everything was very, very clean and modern, large rooms with bathrobes and enough towels. Beautiful beach within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. We extended our stay there again because we liked it. Price-performance ratio absolutely fine. Booking on site at reception is even cheaper than via Booking or Agoda.
We would recommend it.

The rooms are spacious, very clean, very well equipped.
All the people who work there are charming.

We came off season and it was a private resource.had to talk to service when we needed something and it always worked out.the restaurant was closed and the minibar was empty but that’s not an issue as there are restaurants and 7/11 around.the bed is very comfy with soft pillows and rooms are tidy and well isolated from the bugs outside.the water lacks pressure in the pipes a bit but that’s a minor thing really.would come again as it’s quite chill.

I came here in June which is the beginning of off-season. I don't know who was left in charge but they really don't seem to care about anything. When I first arrived they didn't even say hello, they just said "passport", and generally seemed annoyed that they have to deal with customers. The internet went out and when I told them they also seemed really annoyed. I found the router and plugged it back in, apparently a monkey unplugged it. In general though the internet is ok, but its range is terrible. In my room the internet / wifi is intermittent and not good. The pool was green around the edges and doesn't look like its taken care of. I'm sure in the high season things are fine, but low season seems like a bunch of caretakers who don't care.

Had a great stay! The staff is super helpful and friendly, the room was beautiful and mega clean! We would come back here again

This place is outstanding. Great bungalows, super clean, nice pool, nice people work there. Quiet too!

Great place, fab rooms, brilliant pool with lovely views. Staff are really friendly. Only issue is food at the restaurant is really bad. Everything else is great though and plenty of places to eat all around town. We would definitely stay here again and recommend. Just avoid eating there.

Fancy resort with a great view (not directly on the cliff though, so partial sea view). The rooms are amazingly clean, AC, and all the shabang that you would expect in a decent hotel. Beach and hype area of Kantiang bay are in walking distance (7 mins~). Good value for money.

It's a bit of a climb going back from the beach, so not very suitable if you are not fit or with a physical disability that would make this a challenge.

Simple, clean and nice hotel on top of a hill. The beach is less than 10 minutes by feet. The room interior looks a little bit neglected and and there are no sets for the sun loungers and thus, they are quiet uncomfortable.
