Area Nails Lash & Spa

I picked this salon to get a normal manicure & pedicure (not gel) because of all the great reviews about how professional it is and the quality of service. I was thoroughly disappointed by their cluelessness about how to provide a basic pedicure.

The woman started working on my toenails, roughly scraping & clipping the cuticles without soaking first (it was painful at times). There was no soak, no callous removal or buffing at all, and then she started to apply the nail polish without applying a base coat first to protect the nail (and her colleague had to tell her to put in the toe spacers or she wouldn’t have done that either).

I don’t know if this is their first pedicure or what the deal was, but they were confused when I asked them to use a base coat first (I used Google translate to make sure it was clear). They said they don’t have it, so they used a top coat instead (? !).

When I asked why they didn’t buff the callouses at all, they said this costs an extra 350. I had made an appointment the day before and no one asked me what services I wanted, when I asked for manicure & pedicure, so it was extremely confusing and annoying to discover this halfway through my appointment. In all the many pedicures I’ve had over the years, this is always understood to be included in the pedicure service.

I ended up cancelling the manicure after the series of problems with the pedicure. Maybe they do better with gel mani/pedi, but I won’t be back to find out.

Excellent service. Did a really good job of making my sand blasted toe nails look nice again. Would definitely recommend.

Best pedicure! They are very precise, and know their job well. All the process was very accurate, plus the colour is extremely resistant. I walk a lot and even after many days there is no impact on the polish. Take an appointment through the chat because the place is very busy. Highly recommended.

I have been to Area Nails twice now for gel removal and gel nails and the quality, colour choices and finish of the service is amazing.

Those who usually have BIAB/ Builder in a bottle/ Gel overlay - although Area Nails don't offer this service, my nails have been lasting 4 weeks with no chips so i would say they're just as good quality.

Came here because I want to fix my nails and she made a fantastic job my nails was very tiny and thin and she magically fixed good look like a healthy thick nails then ever! Reasonable price She’s profesional, lovely I will definitely going back to her again if I come back here the shop is on the main road verry easy to find too!

I'm very happy. The lady works calmly and neatly. I felt completely zen. All tongs etc are cleaned. I had my toes and hands done. I had my toenail torn deeply and it has been beautifully repaired. So many layers of paint and a beautiful result.

Did a pedicure and a manicure, and I am super pleased! The nail salon is super nice and clean, and the nail lady was super sweet and very clever!

Very good here and super kind lady. I did acyllic nails here, and will come back tomorrow to do my toes:)
