Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended!

Regrettably, our journey along the Phi Phi islands, though booked through one of the local tourist booths, was an immense letdown. Even during the off-peak season, the area was excessively overrun with tourists, diminishing the experience right from the start. Each person was charged 1400 baht, a steep price for what turned out to be a highly unsatisfactory trip.

The boat ride itself was cramped, with scant space for personal belongings, and the congested vessel made it difficult to appreciate the natural beauty. Despite having a tour guide present, their input was disappointingly limited, providing only basic logistical information rather than enriching insights about the places we visited. A more informative guide would have vastly improved the excursion.

The sheer volume of boats obscured much of the natural splendor, rendering the picturesque scenes depicted online nearly unattainable. While the snorkeling activity was decent, there wasn’t much to see. The visit to Maya Beach was marred by overwhelming crowds, leaving a mere 5 to 10 minutes to explore amid extensive queues.

Subsequently, at Monkey Bay, we anticipated observing the monkeys. However, we were stationed at such a distance from the shore that the monkeys were barely discernible, as illustrated in the zoomed-in photo provided.

The lunch provided was abysmal, offering minimal choices like pasta, rice, and some Thai chicken, all tasting rather bland. Given the opportunity, I would have gladly paid extra for a meal at a different eatery.

Our stop at Bamboo Island, lasting 40 minutes, revealed nothing much beyond a beautiful white beach. Returning on the cramped boat, the weather took a turn for the worse, and as anticipated in Thailand, rain poured relentlessly. Enduring nearly 40 minutes of torrential rain under a sign cautioning about falling branches during a thunderstorm before being able to return to our hotel was simply an unpleasant ordeal.

Overall, this excursion was a tremendous disappointment, utterly failing to justify its cost or effort. I highly recommend seeking an alternative trip through a different, more reputable organizer. Don't be swayed by the recommendations at tourist information spots; this so-called "best tour" left much to be desired, and I, for one, remain unconvinced of its acclaim.

Crowded boat, too much people inside. The boat was old and the engine broke during our trip to maya bay, they stopped few times to fix it. Food on Phi-Phi Island wasnt good. In the end they lost one of my shoes. Not recomended at all.

We had booked four island tour in October 2023.
Following reasons I will mention to not take this tour.
1. They did not pick us on time as they promised. 20-25
minutes late they came.
2. No breakfast and tea was given as car only came late
which was this agency problem.
3. Maya Beach entrance fees was 400 Thai baht. There
was big queue for even roaming there, washroom was
full. Still our guide 'Noon' asked to us to come in time.
4. Guide 'Noon' is very arrogant and no idea how to speak
with someone especially with ladies.
5. On second point we were in front of boat 10 minutes
late. 'Noon' saw us so my one male friend (we were 2
male and 2 females) asked her to stop. She saw 3 of
us on shore said bye and went to other point with my
friend. Luckily with running for 10 minutes we got one
ferry boat for port which was last boat for the day.
Unimaginable for someone to spend a night there.
6. We went to Tourist Police for it and accepted our
mistake of coming late. They called this tourist agency
main manager also. We were only expecting that if
someone is just in front of you then you should not go
as it can be very dangerous to stay alone on that island.
After 15: 30 no boat is available.
7. Manager and 'Noon' has no sense of speaking with
ladies. They don't even understand safety. They were
only laughing while speaking in their own language.

Not at all recommended.

On October 19,2023, we took a Phi Phi Island Tour with this travel agency. It was the worst decision we ever made.

First of all, you only get to get off at one beach: Maya Bay. All other island tours are done from inside the speedboat.

We were two couples on this trip. At our second-last island, where we had our lunch break, we were told to be back on the speedboat by 2: 40 PM. We were 10 minutes late. When we reached the boat, the tour guide-"Noon", saw us and waved goodbye. She left us (Me, my female friend & my husband) on the island alone. Our male friend was still on the boat, telling Noon to drop him off as well, but she ignored him.

We had to travel 1 km to get to the last private cruise leaving from Phi Phi to Ao Nang. We took this matter to the tourist police, but they sided with the tour agency. Noon and her manager were shameless and inhuman. They left us on the island without cell phones and barely any money. They didn't even apologize, even after we told them that we were telling them this story so that they would know that I am four months pregnant and that they should have thought before doing anything like this. On the contrary, they kept laughing, blaming, shouting, and abusing us for being late.

This is all a scam for them to earn more money from the private boats that we take on our own. DO NOT BOOK this trip. I luckily had my husband with me, or God knows what would have happened to me and my female friend. She didn't even think twice before leaving two females alone on this island.

They are careless and have been doing this for a long time (which I now know after reading all the similar reviews). Since the full payment was made at the beginning of the tour, the objective of the company is completed, no matter if the tourist lives or dies on the tour. I strongly recommend you to save yourselves from such irresponsible company "Ao nang Speedboat" which we had booked from "Krabi Sea Beach Travel & Tour" or go at your risk where you can be left anywhere in the middle of the tour. Stay safe!

4 Island Tour: I had booked the longtail boat tour. At a price of 600 THB + 200 THB for the national park fee, very satisfied. At events like this, you shouldn't assume that you'll have the island and beaches to yourself. The organizer and our guide Sofia were great. The food was good and tasty. Cold drinks also more than enough available. It should be noted that the engines of the boats make a lot of noise. Overall recommended to get a nice impression of the islands.

We went on the Phi Phi island speed boat tour from Railay. The guide Nancy was awesome, no problem at all. The problem it's the tour itself. We did a first stop in Bamboo island was nice beautiful water, a bit too busy, after that we snorkel just beside the bamboo island. That was really poor. Not many fishs at all and a lot of dead coral. After that we went on sightseeing to the Viking cave, maya bay, another bay I forgot the name and Monkey beach. The first three it is just driving past and snap pictures. A LOT OF BOATS AROUND. Almost impossible to take a picture without one boat in it. The monkey beach was a joke. They stop in front of a rock and told us, hey look 2 monkeys in there, seriously? I have seen more monkeys on the roof of my bedroom in Railay beach.
Ok so after that we went to the included lunch buffet.
What can I say.it's really really simple. Pretty much all tje speed boats go there so the place is packed and you have big lines to get your plain rice, spaguetti and some really simple thai chicken stir fry. Not worthed at all.
To finalize the trip after lunch we go for the last snorkeling session.
The spot the captain pick for us it was worst than the first one, water was dark and same as previous spot, a lot of dead coral reef.
All the staff on the boat was great. The problem itvis the tour itself. Don't go with high expectations and you will enjoy. For me was definitely not worth the price.

We are from kenya. We took the phi phi island tour with this agency. Its was cheaper than our hotel. They picked us from our hotel on time. Took the tour. Nancy the guide was good at her job at explaining what we were looking at. She spoke some good English. I would ride again.
