Aonang Silver Orchid Resort

An older style hotel but in a beautiful location next to a wonderful mountain, in peace and quiet, close to the main road where there are a lot of street food.

Not bad for the price. The facilities are old, but the staff are friendly and the swimming pool is nice. Above all, the water is really warm, so you can go into the pool early in the morning or late at night. This is the biggest advantage. Breakfast is simple, but the omelet is delicious. It's a bit inconvenient because it's inside the road, but it's worth the trip if you're not traveling with children.

Everything was good, it's value for money hotel. You have to walk nearly 300 mys from the main road, rest all is good.

It's a thief resort. Here, staff enters your room with the spare key when you are not in the room and don't even inform you. We were shocked to see that our room was cleaned and our money was also stolen. When we informed the hotel manager we didn't get any help and asked us to lodge a police complaint. Please avoid this resort, it's not at all safe.

Pathetic Experience - Room Cleaning staff Stole our Money kept in our baggage purse during room service, when we were out for the day. And when reported about the issue to the manager. They were least bothered and were laughing amoung themselves. When we read reviews of the hotel again, there were previous incidents of stealing of money issue.

I would strongly recommend NOT to book this hotel.

Quite outdated and pictures are not current, the bar is no longer there and looks abandoned when you enter the pool area via the bathroom (what a weird setup)

Everything is ok but tv in room is just decorations and very bad WiFi connection lose every 30 minutes

Liked this place, Rooms are spacious with balcony facing garden and pool, nice place to stay. The breakfast is awesome, large spread of varities of cuisine. Room service and people are friendly, they also have free pick up and drop from beach and airport.
Loved the location of swimming pool, will recommend to friends and family.

Really helpful staff. The place is clean enough and the swimming pool has amazing views of the cliffs. They arranged the tour to Maya bay for us with a discount, and we could even take a shower when we came back from the tour (we were checked out already). Thank you!

Hotel is good, we booked for 3days, it was so good experiences in this hotel. Good stuff, good behaviour, room and bathroom was so cleaned. Swimming pool was very well maintained. Breakfast options was ok.

We arrived at the hotel around 10PM and switched rooms twice. First because the view was not as promised, and 2nd because we found a bed bug as well as hair and dirt on the bed and pillows. While we were moving rooms, we were stormed by an amount of bugs in the hallway that we had not experienced even in the jungles of Thailand, along with lizards. We escaped from our room at around 1AM because my wife was terrorized by the bugs inside and outside of our room, hoping to move to another accomodation.

As we stepped down into the lobby, we find one employee (who claims to be a guard) sleeping on the couch. We beg him for help and ask him to cancel our reservation so we can escape the godforsaken hotel at 1 in the morning. He says he is only a guard and cannot help us. We atleast ask for an umbrella for us to go to another place because it was pouring rain outside, and we were refused of this too.

The "guard" promises that we would get a cancellation and refund if we return in the morning, and I call Agoda to confirm these things.

Day later, I am given 30 minutes to respond to an e-mail from Agoda to accept the hotel's offer to provide us with the same room at a different hotel.

As I am on vacation, I obviously was not checking my e-mail, failing to respond within 30 minutes and they cancelled the offer saying that they will not give us anything in return.

Horrible, dirty facility. Non-existent customer service as there is actually no employee at night. Owners are liars with unreasonable remediations.

Please avoid this hotel. I would not wish my worst enemy the experience of staying at this place.

We are actually traumatized by this experience and have chosen not to use Agoda anymore due to the sheer difference in pictures and reality.

Simply best. 800 mts away from beach. Hotel has bike for rent, hotel is just at the bottom of hill. Courteous people. Nice breakfast.

A hotel in a beautiful location. The climate is very good because it is near the mountain. There is a free transfer to the beach until late at night. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool is constantly being cleaned! The balcony has a wonderful view. The walls are a bit thin) The rooms are air-conditioned, although they could be a little quieter. All in all a lovely little little hotel. In case of electricity failure you have your own generator) Free wifi!

3. Good price for the stay and food as well
4. Clean swimming pool and good view from the swimming pool (works from 9am~9pm)
5. Shuttle to the Aonang Beach and back (hours are on photo)
6. Good trip booking to islands (reasonable price)
But with they would clean the dish right away!

Great location short walk to restaurants and shops and about 20 minutes to the beach great pool with amazing cliff backdrop, friendly staff and comfortable rooms

Hotel is just beside the mountain. View is awesome. Rooms are good enough for couple. Just opt for swiming pool facing room. Approx 900 mtrs from beach but hotel provides free TukTuk ride every hour.
