Ao-Nang Sunset Hotel

Lovely stay in this Hotel, the Hospitality and helpfulness was amazing. I'm very happy with this place, recommended.

Friendly price, good service. Breakfast little bit disappointment. Water in pool green. Anyway if you are looking for night life, this place is very good to stay.

Yet again a hotel with a room with a very noisy airco (this time a rattle sound). Showerhead is aweful and gives about three small but hard waterbeams. The tap at the sink gave smelly ugly brown water. I had to shave and i shaved with bottle water, it was that bad. The swimming pool is more like a pond instead of a pool.
Dont recommend this hotel, for whatever price!

Good location, excellent service, free beach towels. I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Make sure to request a room on the side facing away from the bar as it gets loud. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This is an extremely miserable hotel lots of noise a wooden plank mattress door breaking to get me to rent a superior room and liar

As a frequent traveler​ (42 countries) ​ I would say that Ao Nang Sunset Hotel is a small, inexpensive, simple hotel, below standard in terms of equipment and service, although the staff is friendly. The pool is 9x4,5 meters. 6 sunbeds. 5-6 minutes to the beach where many longtail boats are waiting (not for swimming there). The hotel has a wifi network that is old, weak, and unsafe, according to warning messages you get on your computer daily. Several times we must tell the cleaning lady when the toilet paper, drinking water, and soap run out in our two rooms. For breakfast, yoghurt, cheese, scrambled eggs, nor omelet are served, but cold fried eggs and cold pad thai, probably from last night. When the fruit platters were empty, we had to notify the restaurant staff, who didn´t keep track (this happened every day). We pointed out fundamental deficiencies and asked for compensation - 5 hs late check-out free of charge (due to our evening flight from Krabi, and my wife had food poisoning and needed to stay in bed), but the hotel manager charged 1,000 THB extra. I replied that I prefer to write positive reviews. Then we got to keep one of the two rooms for 3 hours at no extra cost. Otherwise, our 3-week trip to Thailand was successful with wonderful excursions.

We really like this place and will return despite a lack of English being spoken. The staff on reception could do with additional training on service to guests. We found them quite difficult to deal with. It is very good value for money- the pool is very clean and its right opposite the beach. Rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable.

Nice cheap hotel at Ao Nang with set breakfast. Beach is just across the road. Friendly staff.
However only 3 cars could park on site, the rest must park on the street.
On 2nd day the area got blackout, fortunately the hotel has own generator as backup. So we could use the fan and some lights.

Very good hotel and great service.
Great value for what we paid.
We will come back.

A very pleasant experience Great rooms, very clean and well maintained. Proper coffee tv 3 channels in English (rare) and fridge. Pool.lift.friendly staff. Restaurant was closed due covid

Such a nice place to stay. The dorm is nice and spacious. The location is good (walking distance from everything).

Fine hotel but the experience ended on a sour note. On the last day, we lost the key to our room somewhere inside the room itself and couldn't find it anywhere. When we told the receptionist, he asked us to pay 2000 Baht for the key. The room itself cost only 1000 Baht but we were asked to pay 2000 Baht for just the key.

Clean and nice room with very comfortable bed.
Good aircon and fan also.
Very close to everything and very friendly staff.

Very good value for your money. Clean and comfortable. Near everything you need and only a short walk from the beach.

Lovely place. We liked it so much that we ended up extending our stay twice! The location is wonderful, about a short 5 min walk to the beach. Street isn't too loud which is nice as some of the other streets have loud partying. The service is great! We forgot our passports at the hotel so they contacted the van company we left with and got a taxi to bring our passports to us. Highly recommend!

This hotel and staff treated me and my wife really well and never bothered us in anyway, the women was always smiling and laughing with us at various things! When we needed something! They responded with pleasure and accommodated us in every way we needed! The price was very fair and we really enjoyed the amenities they offered! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area of Krabi Thailand.

Location is very good, just 200 metres to beach road. Service desk is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. I consider this hotel good value for what I paid.
