Ao Nang Baan Suan Resort

Great! Great service, when I went some time ago Haddih and his wife Mariam attended to my wife and I very well. (Caius and Isabella)

So place is okay, nothing near by. Beach 4km away
The main issue is the resort was not at all helpful.
I stayed there for 10 days, on 9th day I met with a major motorbike accident due to which I was severely injured, I was supposed to stay for a month but had to go earlier because of the injuries.
The resort refused to refund money for remaining 20 days even after pleading and showing them injuries.
I have stayed all over the world and have seen in such emergency situations resorts tend to help their guest rather than making there life more difficult out of greed.
Kindly refund 20 days money back so I will remove this review.
Charge me for 10 days I stayed. Not for 20 days I didn’t as it is not ethical specially when you see your guest is severely injured and cannot continue.
DISAPPOINTED

First and foremost, the service here is INCREDIBLE! Everyone here was so kind and so resourceful when we had particular needs and questions. My girlfriend and I booked the room via a Muay Thai excursion (Honour Muay Thai) which included this place plus the classes. I had under-packed and needed laundry ASAP one afternoon and they made special arrangements for me. When we needed travel arrangements to the airport, they had contacts ready for us which was much cheaper than ordering a taxi. I can’t say enough good things about everyone here!

The location is a bit more inland so if you plan to visit the beach or the “downtown” areas, you can have them arrange transportation for you, or if you’re on the adventurous side, I highly recommend renting a scooter nearby for the days you’ll be there.

Would definitely come back when we decide to make another Muay Thai trip in the area!

Calm, calm and calm. Place without alcohol but with the fridges you can have a nice reserve for the evenings. About 8 minutes by scooter from the beach otherwise several shuttles available during the day. Not many restaurants in the area but an excellent pizzeria not far away.

In short, to have peace and relax it’s the best!

Bad experience.

The room is clean on the surface, but everything it touches comes off/falls out of place.

Half the time there was no running water at the Resort. Often there was no water at all from the faucet or the shower, and the toilet bowl was not allowed to be flushed. When the water supply worked, the shower also had warm water.

The first two days the wifi didn't work in our room at all, but it was fixed, after that the wifi worked flawlessly.

Our room did not have a room service sign to hang on the door, so you have to request cleaning separately. Basically, the room is not cleaned, unless it is specifically requested from the Resort's cleaner.

Room 301A has cockroaches in the bed and on the floor. We demanded to be allowed to change the room, which was finally successful. The new room was 317A and there the water worked flawlessly and there were no cockroaches. In the morning, the hotel also offered fruit at breakfast to make amends and apologize for the cockroaches. A nice gesture, but it doesn't make up for the Resort's shortcomings and poorly slept nights.

In a nutshell: The resort is not taken care of well enough, and neither are the residents of the resort. Perhaps there are too few employees in the accommodation, or the maintenance and upkeep of the Resort has been given up. I would not recommend the accommodation to other fellow travelers, even though it is worth the price.

There was no restaurant or other customization options in the accommodation.

Positives: The hotel's milieu was lovely and green, and we liked the swimming pool a lot. The scooter rental also worked well, and the breakfast was good. The location was also ok.

This place is just amazing. People that work here are so much helpful and accommodating. Masu, the lady at reception was so nice and kind. They have night guard, who make sure everything is safe. They arranged scooter for us, in perfect condition, we loved it. Rooms are clean and the whole plase is paradise. This is best for the price we could get in Thiland. Breakfast was nice as well. If we ever come back to Ao nang, we will stay here again. They also have every hour free shuttle to the beach. Love it.

Peacefully, had the whole hotel to ourselves! Clean & comfortable & a corner of paradise in this beautiful country. Staff cant do enough for you & will do anything to make your stay the best possible! Trips competitive to other companies. Don't sell beers as a Muslim hotel so brig your own & if you suffer from mosquito bites you will get bitten (as out in the country). All in all a very memorable, comfortable would defo book again if lucky enough to come to Krabi again. Thank you

Arrived in the afternoon and checked in the resort. Price was reasonable, however upon assigning our rooms they found out the aircon was not working. We waited in the sweltering weather for around 15 minutes for them to change the room and received a free upgrade.

On the first night of our stay, there was a power surge in the middle of the night due to a thunderstorm. We were left with no air conditioning for an hour. We have to decide whether to open the windows (and let mosquitoes in) or trap ourselves inside the stuffy room. I got dressed took my umbrella and went to the reception area to seek assistance, but nobody was there. So I have no choice but to walk back to my room. The power came back 15 minutes later.

I also do not like the fact that I have to kill 3 cockroaches and 5 mosquitoes a day in my toilet (room 115).

Accessibility was not good as it was a 5 minute drive/ride from the main road. There wasn't any 7-eleven nearby too. The only good thing about its location is the straight road leading to the main road.

The staff was nice, they were always smiling to us whenever we depart/arrive from the resort. Regularly house keeping is done so you can expect a tidy room daily.

Very nice bungalows with everything you need. A bit off the center of Ao Nang but there is a free shuttle provided that goes to the center every hour of the day (just a 10 minute drive). The women at the front desk are very friendly and will provide you with any information or tour bookings. If you are looking for a clean, quiet and friendly place to stay: this is it!

Great place, great staff, Sam the bird in the reception you need to have a conversation with.the pricing is good.its a bit outside Ao Nang but if you can live with that this is just fine.rent a bike to have full freedom! The only back draw was the shower, little bit cold and the handle we asked several times to be changed.in my mind that is small matters.go there!

Construction starting within the resort at 8 AM on a Sunday morning! Wake up to very large banging outside my room.not pleasant! At least wait until 9 or 10 AM!

Perfect rooms, clean, comfortable, nice location and excellent service. Free shuttles several times a day to Ao Nang (8 min by car). Delicious breakfast, kind staff and perfect pool for relaxing and having fun!
