Nam Lot Cave

Sadly the bridge to the entrance to the cave was under construction when I visited so it was not possible to enter the cave. The climb up the very steep stairs to the buddha, and then higher to a viewing platform is difficult. The view from the top is very nice but not likely worth the difficult climb for most. From the buddha to the top platform does not have stairs, only bamboo rails and ropes.

ส่วนทางที่มาสะดวก รถเก๋งมาได้ แต่มีทางดินช่วงก่อนถึงประมาณ 200 เมตร

ทางเดินขึ้น เดินได้สะดวกค่ะ บนเขาวิวสวยมากๆ ค่ะ
แต่น่าเสียดาย ขยะเยอะ. ช่วยๆ กันเก็บกลับลงมานะคะ

It was not as difficult as I thought it would be. Some parts are slippery so proper hiking boots are recommended.
There are hornets hive along the way so if you are allergic be careful, my wife got stung several times.
It is windy at the top so drone flying will be a bit difficult if it is a small one.

One kilometre going to the top is really worthy to see wonderful view.
Strongly recommend for whom has an energy and like the nature and adventure.

บรรยากาศดี สวยงาม เหมาะสำหรับคนชอบผจญภัย กว่าจะเดินขึ้นข้างบนได้ก็เหนื่อยหน่อย แนะนำให้ซื้อน้ำดื่มมาด้วยนะครับ

ประทับใจตั้งแต่ทางเข้าเพราะจะเห็นภูเขาแบบหนังจูราสิคพาร์ควางเรียงกันใหญ่สุดลูกหูลูกตา เราไปวันหยุดตอนกลางวัน อากาศค่อนข้างร้อน ด้านล่างไม่มีร้านค้าแต่มีห้องน้ำไว้ให้ ไม่เสียค่าเข้าใดๆ ตรงทางเดินขึ้นเป็นบันไดชันๆที่ทำราวจับไว้ให้อย่างดี เราไปคนเดียวเงียบมาก ค่อยๆเดินขึ้นไปประมาณครึ่งชั่วโมงก็ถึงองค์พระ วิวจากองค์พระมองลงมาสวยมาก คุ้มค่าเหนื่อย ถ้าเดินเลี้ยวตามป้ายไปอีกทางจะพบกับองค์พระประจำวัน ไม่ต้องกลัวว่าจะหลงอยู่บนเขาเพราะมีป้ายบอกตลอดทาง บังเอิญเจอหลวงพี่ท่านนึงใจดีมากให้ศีลให้พรเราเป็นสิริมงคลที่ได้ขึ้นมา หลวงพี่บอกว่าส่วนใหญ่คนจะขึ้นมาตอนเช้าเพื่อดูหมอก ตอนเดินลงได้เพื่อนลงเดินลงมาด้วยกันเป็นน้องหมาพันธุ์ไทย ข้างบนไม่มีห้องน้ำและอย่าลืมพกน้ำดื่มมาด้วยนะคะ

The part of the cave that is easily accessible is quite small. There are some limestone formations to see and there is a metal walkway around the cave.
The walk up to the Buddha statue is steep and could be quite challenging for some. The concrete steps are steep and some of the metal ladders are vertical. When we visited there wasn't any one else there and no guides. So if there was a problem you were on your own. Mobile phone coverage is ok at the bottom and at the Buddha statue. But in between coverage is sporadic if at all.
However, the views at the top are well worth the climb.

Amazing and challenging climb up the limestone carst along a trail with many steps and steep ladders?
This hike is well worthwhile as the views are spectacular
Bring ample water and a headlamp to explore the cave and wear suitable shoes!
We didn't have time to explore the cave but will return and do it

Big entrance to a river cave with nice formations. They are building a stainless steel bridge. Wish we had a raft to explore it all
