We loved staying in the little beach house! The interior design is so beautiful, it has everything you need and it smells great. The weather was very rough (monsoon season) en it was so cozy to be in the house and watch the rain and thunderstorm over the sea. Also, the opening of the art exhibition and the live music were great on wednesday night. About the beach: it was a bit messy but mostly due to natural waste (but also some plastics). We were told that the beach is less messy and more beautiful when it’s not the monsoon season. Parking is easy and the restaurant/bar is great too. Breakfast is served at the restaurant/bar, but there is also a cute place next door where they have cheap and delicious breakfast options.

Lovely beach front hotel with cozy feel. Good for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding and the sound of the waves. Live music on Wednesday. Great Pizzas. Friendly staff. Highly Recommend in Chumphon.

Tips: no breakfast but can order from near by 7/11 or drive to downtown Chumphon.

We did not stay at Maliblues. About ten days before our arrival we had to cancel our trip to Thailand because a dear friend was dying. Booking requested a refund for us, but did not receive a reaction. We send multiple messages but unfortunately did nog receive any reply as well. Therefore, one star for the service.

Very eclectic place, with neat beach vibe. Casual (very) bar and restaurant on site. Family run, pleasant. Good+ pizza, (first time I can say that after 3 trips to Thailand), and surprisingly great selection of international craft beers.

Excellent pasta, very tasty.
Good atmosphere with good piped music during lunch.
Amazing view of the sea from the beach vantage point.

Atmosphere is 'beach cool' with great love blues music.

Simple seating at the bar, tables in front of the band, or out front on the beach, Thai style!

Service was good

Price is slightly high for drinks, but worth the overall experience. My skinny Margaritas were 280bt. That's over double from Khao Lok prices.

Overall cleanliness was good and washrooms were fine.

Good for friends and couples. Prepare for the smell of weed is this is a posible for you!

What's special/unique about this restaurant is the overall beach bar vibe and experience.

This has been my go to place in Chomphon for years. The owner Boy and his wife are really cool and make their guests really feel welcome

Beachside artsy joint. Love the look and feel of the place. Picturesque windows overlooking the sandy beach. Delicious burger. Pretty good pizza too. Our sodas were refreshing. The only angst would be that service is incredibly slow. But hey, it’s by the beach and I should be chillin’

Wow, what an awesome place! Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights but had a really great time living basically on the beach. In the morning we catched the sunrise while still laying in bed and in the evening you can watch the sunset by having a cold beer or a tasty pizza in the bar/restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they really take care about their guests and want to make the stay for you as pleasant as possible. We can 100% recommend Maliblues and hope to return sometime in the future:)

We stayed two nights, beach is nice. Accomodation is clean, and I would describe it as rustic and artistic rather than luxury, whilst still being comfortable. Also the price is very fair. The only thing is the location, great as a stop over if travelling past but not allot to do in the area. There is the restaurant on site serving good pizza and salad and there are other local restaurants along the road.
