The Hideaway Guest House and Bar

Modern bright and clean restaurant. I wish I had visited it 15 years ago. I will be a regular in the future.

This review is based on the bar/restaurant part as I haven’t stayed in the rooms. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and they have some of the friendliest, most accommodating staff (specifically Toom). The food is good and very reasonable. I regular here and am always happy to give them my business.

What great value this place is. Huge rooms, great location, superb food. What more could one want?

Jumbo American Breakfast, not recomended. Not even water included. Order coffe, bring coffe in cup and milk in small cup. After 1 minut come and take milk away (without any words). WHY?

Best burger I've had in Pattaya (not to mention the best deal - 1/2 lb with 2 ample sides for only 195 baht amongs oter menu choices and deals)! The atmosphere is sheer class and he staff are wonderful. The music choice is another bonus with plenty of variety from the most popular to the most ecclectic and rare (love those hidden gems from late 70's UK on the mutiple screens). The pool tournaments are also a kick to watch. BTW, the owner is a real mench.

If your order comes at all because they forget, it takes forever to come, I think they have one shift for the entire place

Decided to try the ribs here and enjoyed them. They had a sweet sauce and some underlying Thai seasoning which made the flavor profile interesting…in a good way. The price for a half rack of ribs with two sides came out to ฿275. A small bottle of Singha beer is ฿75. This place has friendly staff and good service.

Never been in the rooms to comment. But food drink staff atmosphere is all top quality. Friendly staff great customers well worth a visit

Came here for breakfast as it was close to where we were staying. I can't comment on the rooms as I've not stayed there but others have all told me good things. That said, based on the food and service, I might just stay here next time I am in Pattaya. We ordered the American breakfast, cost 105 baht which is amazing value given that many other places would be selling for approximately 150 -200 baht. Incredible value not to mention fast, prompt and friendly service. Also once ordered the food arrived in around 10 minutes which is also impressive. Additionally the breakfast tasted great and did I mention it was great value? 5/5 stars. Well deserved indeed.

UPDATE.
We went there with friends for dinner on the same day. Sat down in the big booth, we ordered 2 Thai dishes, one was Pad Kapao Gai and another I can't remember but also 2 racks of ribs plus a cod and chips. Great fish and chips, it's been a while since I've had a big piece of fish on my plate and lots of chips. Ribs were great, sauce was very nice. Overall totally yummy food at a fair price. What more can one want? A further 5 stars for a super place with excellent food. I definitely intend to stay in a room when am next back in Pattaya.

This place was a great find. I made sure to stop in after I saw the sign that advertised both an American and an English breakfast, nice to see that there are places that realize the differences.
On my first visit I had the lasagna which had that nice homemade flavor, very tomatoey. On my second visit I had the ribs, and they were very good, kinda sweet versus spicy. The price can't be beat. This place is a quite homey open air restaurant /bar.

5-star service as ever. Near the Buakhao action but far enough away (100 yards) to be peaceful when you want to sleep at night

Ordered two dishes, found hair in both the dishes. One the hair was cooked into the meat one dish just the natural way. Unhygienic food save yourselves and avoid this place. Just paid the bill and walked off

Nice bar. Pool table and a lot of choice regarding alcoholic drinks Very friendly owner and staff. And the coffee is great too.

Excellent host. Friendly staff. Got Thatchers on tap. Rooms clean, decent size, good choice of english tv channels. Already booked to go back

It's OK, quite a few expats drink here. Only had food a few times, breakfast OK but can be very slow when busy, waited 45 minutes today for a panini.

They have that utube bloke Kev in Thailand here but not seen him myself, also various artists and minor celebs like Jimmy White. I won't bother.

It's the place for us to go, we love here!
After 2 years we continuously come here for a snack, a few drinks and also the relaxing vibe.

As always the owner will take time to say hello to you, the staff are all super friendly and helpful where needed!
There are various events held here which can usually be found on another social media page so find it give it a like and see what's happening when you are around these parts.
A new rub shack has been added since my last review, this caters for food and has a better variety of food available, including ofcourse ribs.

A bustling little place that has something for everyone from accommodation, food, and activities.
Certainly a place we will continue to visit being afternoon or evening and a place worth visiting if you want a relaxed atmosphere.

Great location, super friendly staff, very clean room with lovely bed linen and brilliant aircon. On top of that the host is wonderful.

Great staff, great manager and great food. A nice spot that’s busy enough but relaxed enough as it’s not boring.
