Siam Bayshore Resort, Pattaya reviews
10Awesome hotel. We don't really like big hotels, but this resort doesn't feel like a big hotel. Public areas are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful. Also the natural environment.
It's the first time I've seen a bellboy ask for more tips and didn't go there proudly.
Smells badly from the river in the middle. I called 5 times to ask for more towels, but they never gave me one. Even when I went out, I went to the lobby and even gave a tip.
Except for the location, the facilities are outdated and I will not go again
As it is also an ASQ hotel, I spent my quarantine here. Strict quarantine is observed. In the first 5 days, contact is only possible via line. After the covid negative test, there is a room cleaning every few days. You can have some things delivered to your room. However, alcohol and sharp knives are not allowed. Food is only allowed from the hotel. The quarantine and its psychological strain should not be underestimated! The rooms are 37 sqm and very well equipped. Even washing-up liquid and sponges are available. WIFI is usually sufficient for Netflix and the like. Meals can be selected daily, are plentiful and excellently put together. Excellent for my taste, even if it comes with plastic dishes. The line communication with the assistants was also helpful. My best regards to Mr. M, Nina and the charming Piera, who were always available for help and advice, even from home. Mrs Thara from sales is a good contact for booking.
I had an interesting, and through the devoted care, a bearable time.
Good place to visit.
Very famous place among tourist.
People came Pattaya, Thailand from India usually come to Siam.
It is very crowdy place. It is alos very attractive place to visit.
Famous destination for shopping.
เป็นที่ที่เหมาะสำหรับการพักผ่อน หยุดติดกับท่าเรือ แหลมบาลีฮาย อยู่ใน Walking Street เยี่ยมยอดมากครับ
Very good breakfast, lot of choice. You have to watch out for juices fresh squeezed because they add water with sugar (you have to ask for no adding water with sugar).
This vibrant sea-side city is the jewel of the Eastern Seaboard. Suvarnabhumi International Airport is just a 90-minute drive north of Pattaya, easily accessible via the Chonburi Motorway. Such easy access makes the city an ideal spot for a quick weekend getaway.
Siam Bayshore Resort & Spa has one of the best locations in town - just meters from the beach, beside bustling Walking Street and nearby Bali-Hai Pier. With so much to see and do, a weekend may not be enough.you may quickly find yourself becoming a regular visitor!
Right at the start of walking street is the claim to fame. Most rooms are across a stinky drain. Few bay view rooms. No beach to swim nearby
Resort is very good. Beach is disappointing. Can't swim there because of too many vessels parked outside. Pool is a delight, rooms are very good. Amenities are good. There is one dirty stream crossing the resort, which I initially thought would be a hindrance but it really didn't bother much. Food at the sunset sunrise is good.
Overall my experience was Good but there were quite a few red flags that I just couldn't let go which led to my review and complaints.
As far as the negative things I emailed them twice before I stayed there about having visitors and if I need to pay money to have them stay there over night. Well it costs 1000 baht to have visitors which is $30 USD. I talked to them about it and worked out a deal to make it only 500 baht but still that was very unpleasant because I emailed them TWICE about it and never got an answer.
When you look at the bridge pictures it basically takes you from the checkin area to the pool / older side of the hotel. What you don't see is the sewage canal it goes over. If you stay close to this area you will smell it undoubtedly.
The food / drinks are over priced but thats every hotel. I get it,
The reason why I didn't feel as comfortable in my room is because of the plumbing. The water would go from hot to cold in a matter of seconds. It really started to get on my nerves and out of no where this VERY LOUD noise would just come and go maybe every 2-3 hours, eventually it didn't happen anymore but for my first 3-4 days it kept going off.
And lastly one of the security guards made one of my guest very uncomfortable
Those are my main things I felt were wrong.
If you didn't know this hotel is at the end of walking st which is super convenient. The best parts of the hotel are the walking garden, location, accessibility, pool, very nice staff minus one security guard, and the taxi/tours woman who is very sweet.
From my pictures, The hotel is right on the beach, and you walk out to the left from check in area and boom you are on walking street. The other pictures by the water is the walking garden which has a bunch of fish, and interesting things to look at.
Overall I would stay here again but not as long.
I paid 87-91 a night.it fluctuated on the weekends etc.
