Royal Cliff Beach Hotel

A very fancy hotel. If you want peace and quiet with 5-star surroundings, then this is your resort. I really appreciated the friendliness and kindness shown by Nattaphong (front desk) and Art (doorman).

First off, this hotel ws chosen for me as a business trip destination (JCT Conference). On arrival along with thousads of other guests checkin took around 2 hours.

In that time, despite being pre-paid we had to leave a deposit for the room. Never had to do that before, and recently had a similar trip in Singapore with no card/deposit required.

I spoke to the manager, who claimed it was hotel policy around the world (trust me it isn't)

Next up, finding your room. For me, the number written on the envelope was wrong leaving me wanderng around the hotel looking for room 1042 - which doesn't exist. It should be 1072 (even the reception desk were confused)

Found the room finally. Wifi username & password? None litsed. So had to check with reception who it seems has been asked the same question thousands of times today. There is a space on the room key/number package - but its left blank.

Tomorrow, breakfast starts when? And where?

For a premium hotel.this one is very secretive about what, where and when you can expect on site. Hardly a good showing.

On the plus side, rooms are big.

Would I chose this place? Probably not, its too rough around the edges to merit its star rating and high prices.

I only came here for Rotary meeting, so did not stay. However, I did get to see the terrace and the ballroom and the Rotary meeting rooms. They were all very exquisite and beautiful architecture. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They did make sure to move me along when I was Checking out the poolside areas, but that makes sense. Peace, DeaconJoshua

When reviewing 5 star hotels, it's always a but difficult because it's the little things that separate a 4 star hotel from a 5 star.

The amenities are great. The pools have great views and are very clean. The morning breakfast easily makes top 3.great selection and quality. There are multiple restaurants, and the prices were better than expected. The kids play area in the front is well staff and more importantly the kids loved it. The beach is as expected.

Things that detract from the 5 star experience. The rooms need some small fixes, including some burnt out bulbs. The grounds need a bit cleaning (plastic debris in fountains.) The kids ice cream parlor seemed haphazardly staffed. If a room sleeps 4 people and there is only a single bed, it's absurd to charge for a cot. All of the hot tubs were out of service.

The high prices doesnt make sense at all pictures on the websites are catfish, since we get out from the taxi you could feel the moldy smell in all area and the whole building, outside and inside. Pathetic Customer Service and receptionist, terrible room. Very unhelpful and rude staff. Avoid it at al cost if possible. Wish could give them 0 Stars. We left the hotel immediately we experienced this 5 star (need renovation) hotel

Great view. Nearby accessible beach with hotel services. Food is superb. Although hotel services are bit slow. Language barrier is very disturbing.

Management is not friendly for Indian guest treat like a cheap tourist. Thailand citizen is starting a Racism against Indian the royal cliff hotel assistant manager of reception did a opening ceremony of racism. Thanks for very worst service. I never suggest my friends don’t visit Thailand for tourism.

A beautiful location with decent customer service. This location was reasonable via taxi if you want to visit walking street or the pier to visit the island. We visited during a major conference, so perhaps it was a little busy. Room service was an issue, we tried to order 4 times before reaching someome and ultimately never received our food. The rooms are nice but a little outdated with awkward bathroom layout leaving little space for towels or clothing. Probably would not stay here as the value for the price point in the area was not too great. Also, NOT walkable, if you want to walk to local attractions, this location is very difficult. If you prefer taxi, their customer service providers can easily and quickly provide taxi service however it is at a premium cost relative to the area.

เกือบจะดีหมดอยู่แล้ว (บริการดีมากตั้งแต่ Bell Boy ไปจนถึง Reception) แต่ดันไปเจอเรื่องไม่ประทับใจ. ไปเข้าพักเมื่อวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2565 ตอนเวลาประมาณบ่าย3 ตั้งใจว่าจะไปซื้อกาแฟโซนคาเฟ่ของรร. มีพนง. ให้บริการโซนนี้อยู่2คน ไปยืนรอเพื่อสั่งซื้อกาแฟอยู่ไม่ต่ำกว่า10นาที เห็นพนง. กำลังยุ่ง เลยไม่ส่งเสียงทัก เพื่อรอให้พนง. มีช่วงว่างจะหันมาทักเองว่าเราต้องการอะไร แต่ก็ได้รับการเพิกเฉยไม่สนใจ
แต่พอมีผู้มาใช้บริการเป็นต่างชาติ กลับได้รับบริการดี (มีเข้าไปสอบถาม) ทางนี้ก็เลยขยับไปใกล้มากขึ้น และทั้งๆที่พนง. เดินมาประกอบเครื่องดื่มใกล้ๆ ตรงหน้า ก็ไม่ถามไถ่ว่าเราต้องการอะไร เลยเดินเข้าไปใกล้พนง. มากขึ้น (ห่างแค่เมตรนิดๆ) แล้วถามว่า. มีคิวเครื่องดื่มเยอะมั้ยคะ. ซึ่งถ้าเค้าตอบว่าเยอะ เราจะได้ไม่รอ แต่สิ่งที่ได้รับคือความเงียบ ไม่ตอบ
เข้าใจว่าลูกค้าน่าจะสั่งเครื่องดื่มเยอะจนยุ่ง คุณแค่หันมาบอกว่า. สักครู่นะคะ พอดีออเดอร์เข้ามาเยอะ. เท่านี้เองค่ะ จะยอมยืนรอต่อไป อย่างสงบเสงี่ยม
รู้สึกว่ารร. ระดับนี้ แต่การบริการของพนง. บางคนเป็นรูปแบบนี้ (เหมือนปลาเน่าตัวเดียว เหม็นทั้งบ่อ) เสียความรู้สึกมากค่ะ

โรงแรมหรูระดับต้นๆของประเทศอยู่ติดชายหาดบรรยากาศวิวทะเลสวยงามโดยเฉพาะสระว่ายน้ำวิวทะเล ห้องพักโอ่โถงเครื่องอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน อาหารอร่อย ห้องรับประทานอาหารก็โอ่โถง บริการดีครับ

It's located far from the main city. If u want to stay at a quiet place. Then it is a thumbs up for u. Hotel / room is beautiful with Sea View. Private beach and infinity pool

Excellent room, location and service. Infinity pool is awesome. Fully recommend to stay in this hotel.

Its OK. Location is out of town and cannot bring girls back which is good. They are nice respectable hotel
