A very authentic Thai seafood restaurant, remember not to make it too spicy, because it is really spicy!

Got a really good experience over there. The food is super good. I recommend you order the scallop with salted egg, supper yumm, and creamy from the salted egg yolk.

The environment is very big and the service is okay. The atmosphere is good near the beach. It should be better at night.

The crab in Phu Patpong curry is too big!
The soft shell was delicious.
The portions of each dish are large, so if you go with 4 or more people, you'll be able to eat a lot more.

This is my third dining in this restaurant, never disappoint before. However at this time, my last dish, a steamed grouper was found to be overdone. It’s meat appeared to be hard and dry and was not good as it should be.

While writing this review, It was surprised that a waiter approached and asked me for not putting this feed back / comment into the review otherwise he will be hardly punished by the restaurant, no matter who’s fault.
Unbelievable, why the man is treated like that, I do not know how to help him, just recommended him to find a better job.

This restaurant has a lot of Chinese people. So very noisy

Food taste above average.

I ordered the Poo Pad Pong Curry, and after waiting for about 40 minutes, the food didn't come out. I didn't notice in advance, and after a scuffle, I couldn't understand the language, so I ordered another food and said that I would provide service. But in the end, when I asked if the service was not provided, the answer came back saying no service. Employees take precedence over guests.

No intention to revisit

ไม่ประทับใจ, ลูกค้าเยอะ ทำให้รันออเดอร์เราผิด คนมาทีหลัง เห็นสั่งทีหลังแต่ได้ก่อน, ปล่อยให้รอนานมาก ตามกับพนักงาน2รอบ ก็ไม่ได้อะไร อาหารมาห่างกันมาก กุ้งแม่น้ำเผาที่สั่งไป ของหมดก็ไม่มาบอก ปล่อยให้รอนาน กว่าจะรู้ว่าหมด มาบอกให้เปลี่ยนกุ้ง พอได้เปลี่ยนเป็นกุ้งอย่างอื่น ก็รอนานกว่าจะได้กิน สรุปกินกับข้าวอย่างอื่นจนหมดแล้ว แต่กุ้งเผาดันมาท้ายสุด. การรันคิวต้องปรับปรุงอย่างแรงค่ะ.

อร่อย อาหารสด บรรยากาศดีมาก กินไปดูทะเลไป กินเสร็จไปเดินยีอยที่ชายหาด แล้วค่อยกลับมาเอารถ มีร้านขนมอยู่ด้านในด้วย

There are certain food destinations surrounding which pilgrimage are developed. People who worship good food gather to pay homage and get blessings on their taste buds. Pu Pen is one such pilgrimage. And me a pilgrim had Stir shark with ginger, mixed sea food soup.
Seafood in PuPen is an emotional affair. Food kisses your tongue and the nucleus accumbens secretly secretes a gush of dopamine. Suddenly you transcend.
Please let me introduce Grilled squid with soy sauce.
If you are staying in Jomtien beach, PuPen is a walkable location. If you stay at D@Sea you'll be staying at the very next door to PuPen. And if you are a Walking Street kind of person, grab a Grub or take a share taxi to reach this destination. It will be a bit hectic but trust me your venture will return you wonderful gustatory rewards.

Fresh seafood at reasonable price. Taste is average. Restaurant is popular and usually crowded but they don't take booking during busy period like long weekend. Service and cleanliness need BIG improvement.

วันนี้ไปกินหล่นปูมา รสชาติแปลกๆๆ. ก็เลยให้ภรรยาชิม เพราะเป็นอาหารเมนูโปรดของเขา พอชิมเสร็จภรรยาผมบอกว่า มันบูด เรียกพนักงานมาชิมเลย ผมเรียกพนักงานมาให้รองชิมหล่นปูให้หน่อยว่าลดชาติมันเหมือนบูดเลย. พนักงานผู้หญิงบอกหนูไม่เคยกืนก็เลยไม่รู้รสชาติเดียวให้พ่อครัวชิมดู เดินไปยังไม่ถึง1นาที เดินกลับมาพร้อมพนักงานด้วยกันเป็นสาวประเภทสอง แจ้งว่าไม่บูดนะค่ะ เพราะถ้าคนไม่เคยกินก็จะรสชาติแปลกๆๆ มันจะมีกลิ่นเต้าเจียว.
เออน้องครับพี่สั่งหล่นปู ไม่ใช่เต้าเจียวหรือถ้าจะมีเต้าเจียวกลิ่ก็ไม่บูด แล้วพี่กับภรรยากินประจำ ไม่เคยกินรสชาติแย่ขนาดนี้. เวลาหาข้อมูลมาตอบ ให้ชิมก่อนตอบพี่เพราะมั่นใจถ้าพ่อครัวชิมต้องพูดว่าบูดชัว

We ordered steamed fish, prawn, tomyum, fried rice and fried egg with oysters. Everything wasn’t great at all. The tomyum and the fish were too fishy, the prawn in curry sauce wasn’t fragrant at all. Wouldn’t go back to this place. Not worth even if the price is cheaper than other restaurants
The restaurant isn’t tourist friendly either. None of the staff speaks substantial english so they got our order wrong

Plus point - place is clean and tidy, view is amazing and fast service

Pricey, but service is excellent, menu has lot of options, and the food is fresh. This restaurant is geared towards meals from crabs, lobsters and other sea food. Going here just to grab pad thai (traditional noodles) or som tam (papaya salad) doesn't make sense.

The venue is huge comparing to a typical Thai restaurant. Dozens of tables. This is not a small quiet family shop.

คนเยอะมากๆ ถ้ามาช่วงเทศกาล ที่จอดรถก็มีเพียงพอแต่รอคิวนานไปหน่อยแต่ก็ต้องยอมรับว่าอาหารทะเลที่นี่เค้าสดมากมีกุ้งมังกรตัวโตโตให้กินได้สะดวกสำหรับใครที่ชอบอาหารทะเลสดๆก็ต้องที่นี่สมกับชื่อร้านปูเป็นจริงๆ

Food was ok and pricey. Kind of salty for our taste. First time here and it's going to be a last time as well. The waitress was very rude following me and my sister all over the place while my mom sit at the table. The waitress thought we want to leave without paying the bill. No idea if they had a lot of people eat and run. I found it very rude and unprofessional. Dress up nice, so they know you can pay!

Bad service! 30 minutes for check: (Overpriced, lately many Chinese Tourist with no manners and will smoke around you!

The freshest shellfish around. The only issue was sushi was frozen and served as being fresh. Rejected the sushi and ordered other menu item. I do not recommend the sashimi or sushi. Suttangrak right up the road has the best and freshest sushi.
