مطعم القصر اللبناني Palace Restaurant reviews
26They have very nice authentic Lebanese food with a killer view in the balcony section of their premises.
For a Lebanese place I was disappointed with the quality, I am a frequent visitor of Lebanese joints wherever I travel. They also do an Indian menu and surprisingly that was pretty good. We did not like the hummus, the falafel seemed the frozen type and the chicken shawarma had no taste. On the flip side the paneer tikka starter was awesome and the vegetable samosas were tasty and crispy. The chilli chicken was also nice and the naan breads all fresh
We used be regulars here a few years back. It was top notch then- Authentic lebanese. Only Lebanese. No other cuisine and that was its USP. Went there in june this year abd the quality has gone down the drain. Lebanese food not up to the mark. Also offering other cuisines as well.quite a no. Of Indian and thai dishes too. Didnt try those since we wanted authentic Lebanese. Prices, quite quite low compared to before but then thats the point.
In fact, the owner of the restaurant used to be always present. Every time we visited we had a small chat with him. Seeing the differences in quality and cusines and prices this time we asked the staff if the ownership had changed but were informed that it was the same.
The staff is friendly and they offer free net connection which is good. However.
We had made a special detour from our Thai food holiday to one night of Lebanese at The Palace.
A very elegant, authentic upmarket restaurant in an up market Mall which should have kept to its USP has been converted to a regular run of the mill confused cuisine place. We would rather pay a bit higher price for authentic Lebanese cuisine. It would be Better to not waste the overheads and take it to a cheaper location on the streets.
Or go back to being its original flavour.
A long review but that should itself show how much we missed tbe original.
Everything was perfect, fresh foods and friendly staffs with very nice view from 4th floor central festival mall
Good food, lovely staff, nice location and a good price and high quality food, Definitely worth a visit
