Ming Xing Restaurant

Super slow services & missing almost half of our orders. Not recommended. Just found a similar review posted 8 month ago by other customers, guess the restaurant does not seem to care nor want to improve their services. Terrible experience.

We was not sure with some reviews so I said let's go to see for our self. We did dim sum buffet came out quickly lots of food delicious all of it but when we arrived 11am only ones so service good did slow down a little with more people but worth the cost good dim sum will be back

The food at the Chinese restaurant is quite expensive and doesn't quite suit my taste.

We love dim sum and thought we’d give it a try (and went hungry). Sad to say, wish we didn’t?
The, All You Can Eat Dim Sum Buffet is from 11: am-2: pm. We arrived at 11: 45am and we were the second table in the dining room. Throughout the lunch service, there were a total of approximately 5 tables of customers (including us).

Pros:
-beautiful setting.
-kind servers, and many of them (approximately 4).
-food was edible (some items better than others).
-recommend: rice noodle stuffed with shrimp, pork spare ribs with black bean sauce, rad-na with seafood (fried fish wasn’t the best, liked the noodles in the sauce), black sesame mochi balls in tea and mango pudding.

Cons:
*Dim sum buffet indicates, All You Can Eat; However, the restaurant makes it, all you can eat, of what they serve you and at what speed
Meaning, you turn in your ticket order. It took about a half hour to serve our first item, and then other items were slowly served to us. As we were halfway done with our first items, placed another ticket of items, again waited another half hour or more for the first item from that ticket, as well, didn’t receive a few items from that order. As we were starting to eat the items we were just served, a waitress came to our table and said the kitchen is about to close for the buffet and we had to make our final choices (and we hadn’t received all items from our second ticket)
We looked at the time and it was only 1: 20pm, and the buffet advertises that it goes till 2: PM
Confused and still hungry, we put in our last ticket, and still waiting for a lot of items from the second ticket.
-I conveyed to the waitress about the raw pork in the, Shanghai Noodles with Pork. She understood and returned the dish to the kitchen. However, the 2 other plates of it came out the same (raw pork), which we couldn’t eat
-Upon the serving of what the waitress felt was our last items ordered, she made a point to say, “And there, that’s your last item. ” Which, it wasn’t, they didn’t serve us about 5 dishes that we had ordered on the second and third tickets. By this point, we were just confused by our whole dining experience, the time was nearing 2: pm, we felt like we were being pushed out, and we just left it at that. However, my husband and I absolutely adored a couple of the desserts that we were just served (Black Sesame Mochi Balls in Tea and Mango Pudding), and I asked kindly if there was any way we could get one more of each, and she was kind enough to oblige (TY for that, kind waitress).
-Lastly, for the price, and what you end up getting to eat (because of the SLOW serving of food), not worth it - I do not recommend this buffet.

I wish our experience was better
As a true foodie, felt compelled to share my experience so someone else doesn’t have to experience the same disappoint (at a costly price).

** SIDE NOTE: If ever in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, definitely recommend the Dim Sum Buffet at Fu Lu Zu Restaurant (Sofitel Hotel) ~ a little pricey, but well worth it! From the moment you step into the restaurant until you leave, you are treated like royalty, top notch delicious food with expedient, kind and attentive service?

Service was very good. Food is not so good. Definitely not authentic Chinese dim sum thus not worth the super high prices they charge. I can walk into any dim sum tea houses in Hong Kong, to get much better quality dim sum for much cheaper prices. USA and Canada have similar prices but better quality. All in all, the food is only edible.

Nowadays, ming chung fried bee hoon or lor mee, the lala clam lots of soil, spoilt appetite. They have increased price for crysantenum tea, last time one pot 2 dollars, now is $1.80 per pax

อาหารอร่อยดีค่ะ แต่ไม่ถึงกับว้าว โดยรวมแล้วดี เหมาะสมกับราคาที่จ่าย วันที่ไปคนไม่เยอะมาก มีนั่ง 4 โต๊ะเอง เลยสบาย ๆ กินชิว ๆ

Dim Sum buffet @ ฿800+ ติ่มซำไม่ค่อยอร่อย ฮะเก๋าแป้งแตก รสชาดกุ้งน้อย เสริฟมาค่อนข้างเย็น ฟองเต้าหู้ทอดมาแบบไม่ร้อน และเหนียวไม่กรอบ อาหารพวกเส้น เช่น หมี่ผัด พวกนี้อร่อยหอมกะทะอยู่ พนักงานที่นี่บริการดี

พุดดิ้งมะม่วงรสชาดดีทีเดียว ไม่หวานเกินไป

ขนมจีบผัดพริกเกลือ แห้งและเค็มมาก

Buffet course: Food tastes good, but the service is terrible. In order to deliver all food at the same time, we just need to wait 20-30 minutes per order

บุฟเฟต์ติ่มซำรสชาติดี อร่อย ส่วนของหวานรสชาติปานกลาง พนักงานบริการดีมาก ตั้งอยู่ภายในโรงแรม เคป ดารา รีสอร์ต วิวสวย นั่งชมวิวไปทานอาหารอร่อยๆ เพลินมาก ราคาแรงเหมาะสมกับสถานที่ วิว และความอร่อย

อันนี้จากประสบการณตรง ไปทานวันอาทิตย์ 11โมง 11/10/63 แต่เขายังไม่เปิด ๆ 11.05น. พอรับได้ อาหารออกมาเหมือนเอาอาหารเก่ามาอุ่นให้ทาน ซี่โครงหมูเต้าซี่มีกลิ่น แจ้งพนง. เขารับฟังแต่ไม่เปลี่ยนให้ ราดหน้าเอานำ้เปล่ามาใส่่ทำนำ้ราดหน้า ใช้ปลาทอดมีกลิ่นหืนมาทำ รสชาดไม่ดีเอามากๆ รสชาติห่วยมาก สั่ง บัวลอยงาดำ ใช้นำ้ร้อนมาชงนำ้ตาลทรายและใส่บัวลอยให้ 2 เม็ด ราคา 820 บาท 2 คน จ่ายไป 1640 บาท รู้สึกเหมือนถูกโกง ขณะที่ไปกิน รร. อนันตรา ราคา650 บาท อาหารดีกว่าที่นี่ เท่าตัว เสียดายเงินมาก ราคาไม่ควรเกิน 300 บาท หรืออยากได้เงินคืนมากกว่า ใครจะมาทานต้องทนกับฝีมือเชฟได้ด้วย ราคานี้แต่ต้องอดทนทาน แจ้งพนง. แต่ไม่สามารถทำไรได้ ภาพรวมๆสถานที่เหมาะกับการถ่ายรูปแต่อาหารคุณภาพไม่ผ่านเอามากๆ สาระมาอยู่ที่คุณภาพอาหาร การตกแต่ง การบริการก้อดี แต่มาหยุดกึกกับรสชาติอาหาร ไม่ติงเรื่องปริมาณเพราะบุฟเฟ่ต์อาหารจีนเขาไม่มีวางให้หยิบอยู่แล้ว เพราะทานมาหลายที่พอจะเปรียบเทียบได้ ร้านอาหารตามสั่งบางร้านอร่อยกว่านี้ ไม่คุ้มค่าเงิน

- แมงกะพรุนยำน้ำมันงา (฿250) อร่อยมากครับรสยำเข้มข้น แมงกะพรุนชิ้นใหญ่ฉ่ำกรอบ
- จีบกุ้ง&หมู (฿150) ไส้ขนมจีบทำได้ดีครับ แต่ส่วนตัวผมชอบรสชาติที่เข้มข้นกว่านี้
- ฮะเก๋ากุ้ง (฿150) แป้งบางครับ ดีตามมาตรฐานทั่วไป
- ก๋วยเตี๋ยวหลอดกุ้งทอด (฿250) ราดด้วยซอสวาซาบิมาโย แปลกใหม่ดีครับ กุ้งทอดมาได้กรอบอร่อยดีครับ
- เสี่ยวหลงเปาไส้หมู (฿140) รสชาติกลางๆครับ ยังไม่หอมเข้มข้นมากเท่าไหร่
- เผือกทอดไส้หมู (฿150) ทอดมาได้ดีครับ สัดส่วนเผือกดูจะมากกว่าหมูไปหน่อย
- เป็ดปักกิ่ง (฿1,500) ทำมาได้ดีครับ เป็ดหนังกรอบ ไม่เหนียวเลยครับ แป้งธรรมดา น้ำจิ้มออกจะเหนียวข้นไปหน่อยครับ
(เมนูย่อย) เนื้อเป็ดทอดกระเทียมพริกไทย เซอร์ไพรส์มากครับ ทำออกมาได้ดีมาก รสชาติเข้มข้น เนื้อเป็ดนุ่มไม่เหนียวไม่เหม็นหรือแข็งกระด้างเลยครับ
(เมนูย่อย) เมี่ยงคำเป็ด อร่อยมากครับ เนื้อเป็ดสับผัดเป็นเมี่ยงคำปรุงรสมาได้เข้มข้นอร่อยดีครับ
- เป็นห้องอาหารจีนในโรงแรม Cape Dara ครับ
- พนักงานใส่ใจและบริการดีมากครับ
*ราคาแพงกว่าในกรุงเทพฯครับ
(ผมทานแต่ของนึ่งไม่ได้ลองอาหารจีนเมนูอื่นนะครับ)
