King Cafe @ Walking Street

We we're visiting Pattaya on holidays and the one thing we can't do is eat Thai EVERY NIGHT. Then we stumbled upon this place, saved! Great food, cooked well, in air conditioned comfort and the prices are very reasonable.
You GOTTA try the Pizzas, this became our regular dinner spot for our entire stay. Ended up trying their Lamb Shank, Salmon Steak and Rib Eye. LOVE IT! I Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

As far as food the portions are small, price a bit expensive and quality subpar. That said the service staff was good and if you just want to chill to watch all the tourists and other strangeness of Walking Street this is not a bad place.

Stepping into the restaurant was a nice change from the loudness and busyness of Walking Street at night.
We ordered a pizza to share and then individual meals. The spaghetti and meatballs was average and slightly disappointing. The lamb shank looked nothing like the picture in the menu; the dish given to me was a shank soaked in a thick gravy with a very strong taste of pepper and the mash potato was nowhere to be seen (see comparison shots below).
We chose to dine here because we had seen positive reviews for it and also the photos online showed that this place had character and a certain ‘ambiance’ to it. The photos were correct as it was quite unique and stylish but unfortunately the food was too disappointing to give it a higher review.

A good place to hang out with friends and having different kind of seafood dishes. Also the waiters are friendly and nice to the foreigners.

Horrible. Waiters seemed to be running without proper direction (one gentleman needed to stand up and waive his hands in the air together their attention), we were sat at a table that wasn't properly cleaned first, send most disturbing, their were small ants in my pineapple chicken fried rice. YES. ANTS!
To only good thing about this place was the water view.

Air conditioning for those dying of heat exhaustion. Very tasty food. Good prices for tourist area. Crab fried rice 280 baht, crab pad Thai 195 baht, hamburger 175 baht. Strong cocktails 150-200 baht

Excellent food, exceptional service, reasonable prices. Can't ask for anything more. I especially love the rock lobster dishes. More specifically, rock lobster in white wine cream sauce.

Amazing seafoods, all traveler I recommend must be visit here!
Baked Scallops with Cheese and mantis shrimp are wonderful things, don't forget huge crab as well.

Excellent seafood in a beautiful setting. By far the best on Walking Street and very good service. Highly recommended.

Nice place to sit down and watch people goes by, food is not expensive big portion for burger 245 thb with free chips went well with ice cold Singha beer

Nice cozy place to sit and chilled and just watching people walking past by which on the outside area. Inside is perfect to having dinner, great food, good vibe and very stylish place to hang around with your friends before went out and wondering for the rest of the night.

The best place to sit and sip a cocktail! Lovely bar and friendy staff, this is the only bar in walking street that serve Hendrick gin with indian tonic, we visit on the halloween night the decor here is fun too!

Expensive and scurrilous.
They do not inform in advance but add extra 10% when making payment.
The staff also sucks.
They are very unkind, impolite rather rude and lack of courtesy.

Great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. We had a beef burger and chicken burger and commented they were the best we'd tasted!
