Jolly`s Hotel & Restaurant

I have eaten at Jollys restaurant many times over the years, dinner and breakfasts. Last night I ordered the lamb kebabs. What arrived on the plate, was a pile of minced lamb. I asked to see the menu and pointed out that I had ordered the kebabs. The waitress took my plate back to the kitchen and returned with the same plate telling me that it was the same as what I had ordered. I could not eat what was on the plate, and asked for the chicken kebab. When this arrived I started to eat. Unfortunately the rice and same vegetables that had accompanied the pile of mince were now with the chicken kebabs. Some of the pieces of chicken were uncooked. I showed the waitress the uncooked chicken. She did not say much. I do not speak Thai. I was just given the bill. Not the best experience.

So I came to jolly’s on soi bachou by chance, ate a few times here with my Thai lady, I’m uk but eat Thai when I can, jolly’s so far has been far and above anywhere I’ve eaten In 2 months around Thailand, great selection of Thai and around the world dishes, service lady’s are happy and quick, prices are good for the Level of quality and service you receive.

Had Roast Turkey Christmas Day 2023 delicious worth every baht 799 my Thai wife had Thai food

This restaurant is a good restaurant that I have been visiting every time I come to Pattaya for a long time. It was delicious and the staff was friendly. However, I ordered an omelette today and the staff ruined my mood. I ask the boss to fire that employee. There is no need for an employee to be rude to customers and they did not even apologize.

I ate at the restaurant, did not stay at the hotel.

The food was good but not great, and it lacked a little bit to reach 5 stars.

The lamb rack was good and very tender, but the gravy was bland.

The yam tale was also good but a little bit on the sweet side and not in the perfect sweet-sour-salty balance that Thai food is so well known for.

Another example of the little bits that lacked to make it a 5 start experience, I ordered the hot lava cake with coconut ice cream. It turns out that they were out of the coconut ice cream, and the hot lave cake was served cold.

It still tasted good though.

The espresso was of better than average quality and the location is great just on soi buakhao, perfect to watch people passing by and the normal semi chaos in the traffic.

This restaurant have the possibility to be one of the best middle segment in the soi buakhao area, just a few bits here and there that's missing.

The hotel is grossly overpriced at 960 THB per day. The sink in the bathroom fell off when I put my toiletry bag on it. The stairs are so steep that you have to be careful not to break your neck. Everything is unkempt and dirty. I missed eating in the restaurant when a rat ran at my feet for the third time. I've never really experienced anything so ridiculous.

We had delicious dinners for 2 days in Pattaya.
Even though I just had dinner, it was delicious so I came back again.
The staff was so friendly, I don't think I'll forget it.
I was part of a great trip.

The black sign above stands out, so it's easy to understand.
The breakfast is pretty average, but the round fries are nice and fluffy.
It also comes with orange juice, so it really feels like a full breakfast.

The owner suggested me this speciality, but wasn't too good.

The interior and atmosphere are good, but the price is a little high in this area (although it is reasonable for Pattaya).
I think the taste of the food is solid, but the minus is that it is cash only in this storefront and price range.

It was 99 baht for porridge, coffee and orange juice set.
The clerk's response was also good

Good price have Corona promotion 20% dis. All menu, delicious food, very nice stuff and good cervice

I would like to thank the hotel owner and staff for all their help during my holiday. You will definitely not regret it.

The restaurant is clean, the food quality is high, the prices are reasonable, and the location is in the middle of the nightlife street
