Hemingways Restaurant & Bar

This was my second visit; I ask myself why so long for the return. Wonderful staff and wonderful menu. If you need reservations for a group I recommend sending a message on Facebook. I received a reply to my request for reservations for a party of 8 within a couple of minutes. Everyone in our group had fantastic meal and a wonderfull time.

Watched rugby here today, England beat NZ. Great place to watch. TVs too many. Food great. Atmosphere electric.

Returned for the Monday night steak special and quiz night. Our third time eating here while in Pattaya for a month. Husband always get steak, tonight was under cooked, but still good. I ordered tempura shrimp and veggies, brought me out wrong food, but fixed it and was very good. Monday night quiz is fun.
Tried a piece of their pizza was pretty good. I had the bangers and mash last visit and that was great.

Good beer, live sport, good place to feel like in a western country when you become bored in Asia

Nice to go back and have a pint of heineken looks the same when it was sanigans. Clean and tidy.

Great drinks selection, staff is friendly, and the manager seems to care about the establishment. Food is typical of British pubs, nothing special, but they have draught English ale and Guinness cheaper than Bangkok! (210 baht a pint)

A lovely air conditioned bar area, loads of TV's showing every sport, top food and lovely draft beers and ciders

Decent food. Just plain average across the board tbh. Not bad not great. Good environment though, TV's have football going so thumbs up for that.

Food here hasn't always been a strong point but it has improved greatly. Its always been a good place for a drink. The staff have always been excellent and now the food is too.

Hemingway's is a good bar by any standard. Well run. Friendly staff. Good food both Western and Thai. Excellent drinks selection.

Good food comfortable seating. Staff very friendly and efficient.pricing is OK.have sports on TV.every day have food specials.the ploughman's lunch is great.will definately return.

Roast lamb dinner, no mint sauce, gravy boat too small. No salt, at 350 baht not good value. My girlfriend had salmon, well what you could see of it, no more than a few mouth fulls. Go to Frasers sport bar, better value for money. Came back for pie Wednesday, what a disappointment, average pie, no gravey and cold bake beans. Also the pie did not look anything like the photo on the wall an menu. Staff would sooner talk than take money, very poor management.

Not expensive food with daily special offers. Big choice of beer and ales with my favorite Abbot

Feels like a western bar and grill. Absolutely delicious food, professional and friendly staff, quiet and comfortable atmosphere

Nice food but a shame about the drunk waitress New. Drunk both times I was there and spilled a little bit of my beer on my roast dinner

Decent sports bar, with draught Guinness at 210 bahts which equates to almost £5 a pint. Now I'm not one to complain but I can get a pint at Weatherspoons in London for far less, but this is Thailand for heaven's sake. Blatant ripp off if you ask me. Pizza's are mediocre at best. Has a pool table and an outdoor area for smokers.

Much improved decor since it reopened. Nice, well appointed, large sports bar with a really lovely outside area. Have only eaten once and it was not a good experience. All day breakfast was one of the worst I have tried around town, just zero imagination, no seasoning, minimal effort.
A mate of mine had one of the pies - really poor. You can tell the chef just went through the motions with the food. Will give another try and review again. I really want to like this place.

They put beans on my meat lovers pizza and straight mayonnaise was the dressing for the Waldorf the Thai people recreate the look of the food but don't know the proper ingredients to get the flavor right.
