Hemingways (Lakeside) Restaurant & Bar

Tried the ploughmans lunch and new beef stew meals today and have to say that both were presented and served to the table in a good timely fashion, tasted great and the service and staff were very friendly and extreamly polite as they always are, great food at the right prices and great vibes, 5 star experience, well worth spending time there

Never got to eat the food, went on Friday for the curry special, arrived at 4pm and they had run out.

Excellent Chicken, Bacon & Ham pie.

We called in last night & I ordered ham egg chips etc to be asked by the waitress, u like egg fry, scrambled or boiled, i chose fried which were overdone, my wife had pork chop tomahawk she was asked u want well done or rare, with pork? My wife chose medium, presentation 9/10, taste quailty, it was not cooked in the center, asked for the bill & waited 10.minutes,

This is a very nice restaurant with a good ambience.
You can choose between western and Thai food - they have both.
The only thing I was missing was an Australian or European lager beer in their offer.

Very nice bar and restaurant with friendly staff and good food with outdoors and indoor seating areas, screens showing all kinds of sports!

A very enjoyable full English & few different IPAs.

Got a special on Wednesday's for 395 baht which looks great - will be heading to the lakeside to sample that soon.

Definitely worth a visit

Myself and my wife visited today I had the ploughman's and my wife had spaghetti alle vongole.
Both dishes were excellent and very well priced beating the local competition by some distance for quality and value.
Myself and some friends will be visiting again tomorrow well done to Hemingway's Lakeside a breath of fresh air to the lake.

A Hotel with a lake view. With some of the most stunning lake vistas in the Pattaya. Lakes waterfront BAR & RESTAURANTS is an experience that should not be missed.

food /presentation /portions and price all very good, nice location over looking the lake

First time wanted a good western lunch
Tomato soup with Mexican beans was good
Bangers and mash was poor mash ok not great peas and bacon fine gravy ok
But the sausages were awful very hard no texture and lacked any taste
Won't be having this again unless they get good quality sausages
Will come back to try a curry maybe as pricing a touch high

Lovely family friendly bar, great pool for the kids to let off steam, good selection of drinks and a large menu. Particularly recommended the Sunday roast!

Yesterday we came here the first time even though we didn’t plan to. Saw the lights from the road and it looked so inviting! Good that we stopped.

It’s the best steak pie I’ve ever eaten in Pattaya. Prices are decent, portions are huge, quality is great. I am very impressed and definitely will be back for Sunday roast. Loved the place!

Beautifully layout, includes swimming pool, sitting inside and out, they are constantly adding to the menu, we have a good time

Thai food got not 1 but 2 thumbs up from my long suffering other half.


Only 4 stars for atmosphere as there were no other customers due to the earliness of the hour.

Really good job and well done to the team at the New Hemingways on the lakeside. Spent some time there this weekend and the place is really worth a visit. Full menu and proper good selection of curries.loads of sport and if you feel like it you can have a dip in there pool.

Beer too expensive for Lake area, the average price is 65 baht, too charge 85 is extortion especially when having to drink outside without air-conditioning

Been waiting come here for a while now. Great staff food really good and not over priced like some this way. Defo be coming back

Really enjoyed my time there, new place on the lake, went on Saturday to watch the rugby, was glad to see it was showing.really nice atmosphere and the staff were very pleasant.could be a new hang out for me. Heard they are starting a carvery soon.
