Devonshire Restaurant coffee and guest house reviews
31Been here for breakfast a couple of times, always good. Full English breakfast 249 baht (Jan 2024). Coffee good and hot.
After ordering, the drinks came out right away, but the food didn't come out even after 30 minutes. The hall staff were efficient, but I had to wait a long time to confirm that they weren't filled with orders, and I wondered why they were so busy.
I don't think I want to come again.
I do not recommend it.ps. The seats were about 50% full from the time you entered to the time you left, and even though it was not full even in high season, the food was served slowly.
Used to be great. Went in yesterday and the staff had such a bad attitude I didn’t stay. Kung’s across the road is great!
Fantastic breakfast and the largest mug of tea I have ever seen.
Excellent service thank you.
Great breakfast probably the best in pattaya. The fresh coffee is also a great added boost, I will be back
Cheese and tomato sandwich and orange juice. Very decent, clean restaurant and friendly staff
Ate here most days for breakfast and a latte to start the day off great value and if you haven't tried the peri peri chicken chips coleslaw and home made peri peri sauce give it a try best I've ever had great service friendly staff
Oh it's fine if you're tired of Thai food or want a change with a dodgy belly. Food is alright.
I had heard a number of good reports and decided to go and try for myself. Eating area is large and opens out to Soi lengkee. Fans everywhere but can get hot. Quick to get served with 5 other customers already there. Ordered the small breakfast for 139thb. Overall fine though I wasn't impressed by the bacon that had been fried 2 or more times and the half piece of fried bread was very oily and not something I would normally order. Breakfast deals are known for including coffee or tea and I love coffee and realise that the coffee offered is mediocre at best so ordered a cappuccino. It came with a creamy top but the beans were just average in flavour. At the end of the meal I was starting to get hot so asked for a very small glass of iced water. The lady served me a bottle of water and ice in a glass.
Check bin and the cappuccino was 55 meaning that the included coffee wasn't upgraded but just forgotten. The water was 30 making the 2 extras 85 or more than 50% of the breakfast cost.
There are many other places for fry up breakfasts in town.
We ate here twice and to be sure it was not a one off we tried it again but the staff where just the same awful.
As for the food and place itself it is superb I rated the best breakfast we had in pattaya and the Sunday lunch was awesome
Would I use again? If they sort out the staff
Had a great English breakfast cost me 189b with a latte at a extra cost of 25b my girlfriend had Thai dish with massive prawns overall a great tasting breaky I’ll be back tomorrow.
As a vegetarian i enjoyed my breakfast here. 2 toast one with beans and the other with tinned tomatoes, hash browns and mushrooms washed down with a mug of tea. This easily became my goto restaurant after a heavy night out! It was enjoyable to sit in and look out at passers by.
Have had good meals here many times pre - pandemic. Was pleased to see it still operating. Decided to meet a friend for breakfast. Place hasn't changed since I was last here. We ordered a full breakfast plus eggs on toast, tea and coffee. No issues with the food etc but the service wasn't very pleasant. Either she was having a bad morning or something else but her table manners with us weren't very nice. Pretty grumpy in my opinion. I doubt if I'll be back. There are plenty of breakfasts around at less money and friendlier service. A bit disappointing.
Went here for the English breakfast and have to say it was excellent. Portion size is quite large and I found the quality of the food to be really good. I'd definitely recommend this for a visit if you're hungry for a taste of home.
Went this morning for breakfast and must say this has been the best we have found. HUGE value for the money! Decent ingredients and the staff were very accommodating. If your looking for the best breakfast in Patttaya look no further! Nothing better out there that we've found yet!
Just dropped in for breakfast and I can tell you it is worth the time I had the full breakfast with tea it's the best I've had for a long time, eggs with really thick toast black pudding sausages and deep fryed bread and real baked beans. I recommend it for everyone but bring your appetite it is a full breaky. Great staff and quick service
Very tasty English breakfast. 2 fat sausages, generous portion of bacon. Black pudding, baked beans. Also very tasty Bubble and Squeak but a very small portion. Large cup of tea. The only negatives were tinned tomatoes and mushrooms but overall a decent brekkie!
Had breakfast and was happy with how fast the food and drinks were served. The staff were friendly and helpful, with a clean and comfortable restaurant.
Great breakfast at very fair price.chicken Cordon Bleu.excellent.fast service.convenient.good looking clientel (yuk yuk!)
The 129thb Full English Breakfast was very tasty; needs more beans though.
Staff are super friendly.
