Centra by Centara Maris Resort Jomtien

We were on vacation with my husband and daughter, the hotel is not a large family type, the rooms are spacious, we really liked the pillows and blankets, they were just wow soft and fluffy) we only had breakfast, but that was enough for us, since we were mostly not in the hotel. In the morning we had breakfast and went for a walk or on excursions. I liked the fact that you can walk to almost all shops and cafes or take a Tuk Tuk for 5 minutes and you’re there. There was a market nearby, since we are not picky in terms of food, we ate there in the evenings, or took food with us to the hotel. We went to the islands to swim, there was blue water and sand. In principle, we had a wonderful rest, there were a lot of positive emotions. I am planning to visit Thailand again.

I was here for the second time, seven years apart. I didn’t expect the numbers to change so much. Arriving for the first time, I was impressed by the original decoration of the rooms, namely a glass partition separating the shower and bedroom. But why did you stop monitoring this? Why is the plumbing faulty, why is the climate system not controlled, why is there mold in the shower? Dear hotel managers, please pay special attention! Overall a wonderful hotel, the flora has grown nicely, it has become noticeably greener.

These are more for Tours then actually for a couple on vacation. The staff was not very helpful. They told us the wrong direction to enter our room section. We had to walk from one building to the other because of the staff. Breakfast was tasty. But disappointed that we had to slice our own bread. They should already be sliced to pick up. No one kept an eye on it. Because one of the russian kids picked everything up with bear hands.
Room - We asked and paid for a king size bed. But they supplied us with 2 joints bed which you have a rifle between. Very disappointed on that. The glasses in the room were not even cleaned as they had dust in there also in the kettle.
Location of the hotel was a bit hard to find and had no bike parking space. I had to park on the car parking underground.

I really liked it, great view! I was especially pleased with the garden, it is wonderful, many trees, a pond, places to relax
The rooms are clean, good service and the food is delicious

Nice and fresh hotel, large rooms and friendly staff. The pool is also very large and fresh. The breakfast buffet was very good, and there is a restaurant in the hotel but the prices were quite high. The negative, which for me was a pretty big negative, was the location. If you want to get to the beach from the hotel, you either have to take the hotel bus, which runs once an hour until 8pm, or book a taxi. The city is a good distance from the hotel, so if you want to go there a lot, it can be expensive with a taxi back and forth.

Despite how beautiful the resort is, do not trust their laundry services. It has been less than a month that my boyfriend has been staying with them and they have lost his clothes twice already and failed to locate his laundry bags. The first time they lost his bag was absolutely inconvenient already and he had to go buy new clothes. Now, he has to go buy clothes AGAIN. It is absolutely ridiculous to hear how they are handling this during his stay.

Unlike others under Centara, the management of this place is quite below its standard, i.e, refrigerator hidden inside closed cabinet without ventilation, treadmill is not functioning, swimming is not so clean, breakfast has variety but charging too high (500-1000 THB per person), no access to the beach. Apart from spacious common area and lots of breakfast choices, overall experience was like a 3-star hotel.

Without doubt one of my best favorite hotels I stayed during my vacation time Jomtien! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel as well as restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had four great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

The other day, we did a roaming inside city with a motorbike rented from hotel it was in a reasonable rate, (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed swimming pool inside hotel & its atmosphere. The atmosphere was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in evening / night in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural sea bath on the end was a great way to end the journey.

Note, this is not a 5-star hotel but the ovarall-atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!
