Bang Sarai

I feel being home in BangSaray. For more than 20 years I am always here for a few days. Nowadays its a wonderful example of a development of an only fishervillage into a diverse, clean town which keeps always his friendlyness, openess and helpfullness. Old and young people are living together, new ideas of restaurants, cafés, hotels which fit in. A quiet place with everything to feel relaxed, being welcome. A role model for me.

Located just outside Sattahip and hardly developed for tourism. Half of the massage parlors I tested were closed and not particularly good.
Next time we'll look for accommodation further down in Sattahip.

Nice place for a quite month or 2nice long beach plenty of restaurants and bars plus night markets and shopping areas easy to get around on foot if your a non driver

Beautiful beach protected from the southly winds clean water and clean sand lots of restaurants and umbrella spots on the beach

Quite place, small beach area but nice place, some good seafood restaurant on the beach, a lot of places you can get European food, prices all very reasonable, i like it.

ชุมชนบางเสร่ หาดบางเสร่ ที่นี่เป็นหาดไม่ค่อยกว้างใหญ่สักเท่าไหร่ ไม่ค่อยวุ่นวาย บรรยากาศค่อนข้างส่วนตัว มีร้านอาหารต่าง ๆ ทั้งซีฟู้ด ไทย อิตาเลียนให้เลือกรับประทานในช่วงเวลาต่าง ๆ ที่นี่ไม่มีผับ แต่มีบาร์เปิดให้บริการในเวลากลางคืน กลางวันมีร้านอาหารริมหาด ชุมชนบางเสร่เป็นชุมชนค่อนข้างอบอุ่น ผู้คนในชุมชนนี้ค่อนข้างรู้จักกันแทบทุกคน ในนี้มีวัดอยู่สองวัดคือวัดสามัคคีบรรพต และวัดบางเสร่คงคาราม (วัดหลวงพ่อทองอยู่) มีตลาดเย็นทุกวัน ซึ่งราคาของกินถูกมาก สามารถซื้อไปนั่งกินริมหาดได้อย่างสบายกระเป๋า

View on Bang Saray bay with in the left corner the boat ramp where small to medium boats can be taken in or out. There is also a good local service with tractors that will do the job for you for 200 Baht (in and out together) : you just sit on your boat and leave and they get you out again on the way back. Ask for K. Nong, reliable guy! I use his services almost weekly.

Good bar and good place to have some good fun with family and friends. It's got a good choice of drinks and stakes are really succulent and tasteful with a hint of western taste inside of every choice. Crepes and sweets are about the best possible choices yiu can have. It's also a good place to find and to find company. Other next bars are not so good and less choice with it.
