Arden Hotel and Residence (Formerly known as At Mind Exclusive Pattaya)

I think the previous poster just had a once off bad experience, because I had the complete opposite. Our pool view room was spacious and exceptionally clean, and I found everything to be well laid out. There was a washing machine that worked very well, and a drying rack on the balcony. You only have to buy your own washing powder, which for the price of the room isn’t really a train smash, and the 7-11 is literally across the street from the hotel.
The breakfast was really good with a variety of things from soups and cereals to salads and hot dishes. They even had a noodle and ice cream station.
The gym is small, but has what you need for a quick basic workout. I only wish there were mats and water. I didn’t get to use it, but there’s a sauna in the bathroom behind the gym.
The pool is bigger than it looks on the photos and just great to sit out there and swim. You can order drinks and food from Mind Bistro and they bring it to you at the pool. There’s shade all day long depending on where you sit.
The hotel is located on a busy street corner, but I was with a stroller and 2-year old and it was mostly ok. There are quite a few food and massage options around, and Central mall is 15 mins walk away if you dare to do it in this heat ;)
They also have a happy hour from 4-9pm with amazing drink deals and specials.
The hotel offers a shuttle service to Terminal 21 mall, but it is a shared shuttle with its sister hotels, so you need a bit more time to get there, which is hardly something to complain about since it’s freeee. The only gripe I have is that there’s no shower caddy to put your stuff, but overall we had a great stay.
