We have rented a Nissan Almera for two days. The car is quite good, but customers will feel more satisfied if there is a monitor to connect with the mobile phone for GPS. The PIC is very curtesy and nice.

The staff is kind and the car is clean.

I booked a van for 7 days. 1 month in advance, it was advertised as Automatic Passenger Van Toyota Commuter of similar.

I received a call from them after 2 weeks of booking they only have Manual gear.

I tried to search for different van and due to its close to the pick up date i couldn't find anything similar so I agreed.

I was told the van is model 2019 or 2020, when i arrived i was surprised its very old van most likely 2015 which is 5 years older than they promised it was more than 130k and it had too many scratches and dents, i had to spend long time checking the van for damages before picking up i lost time.

The van was very dirty inside i doubt they cleaned after previous rental.

It was difficult to drive manual gear we booked hoping its auto but they failed to deliver as promised.

Pick up and return was smooth.

Anyone booking with them make sure to double check they can offer what you booked to avoid disappointment.

I ended up paying the same price for the van that was not as advertised (Manual instead of Auto)

Year 2014 or 2015 instead of year 2019

We were given a Honda Jazz. Physically, the car was clean, both inside and outside. We considered it to be a nippy car, comfortable for two of us seniors, and above all, stingy on petrol. The customer service when collecting the car and sending the car back was excellent-on-par - typical Thai hospitality. I'd give a zero score on car maintenance. The battery water was completely dry. Thankfully, this struck at the hotel car park. The hotel manager's assistance in getting her staff's help with troubleshooting and then topping up the battery water was truly appreciated. I still shuddered to think if we had experienced this incident in the middle of nowhere. I can only attribute this to God for His Protection. Drive Car Rental receptionist's first reaction was 'you left the car lights on the whole night'. Later, a burst of nervous laughter was given when informed of the real reason. She immediately agreed to pay for the battery water. We were able to continue our planned program only in the afternoon. To all readers, do CHECK the essential items before driving off, no matter how physically good-looking the car is.

I have to explain. The rental experience was great except for the GPS. I paid 20,000 THB for a GPS that failed to work. When I informed the company they indicated they would not refund me. That’s theft. The car and rental experience all worked well, except that I had no GPS when driving around in remote places. I paid €900 for the rental and the one thing I needed them for, they used to steal from me. Unbelievable.

Super happy with the service with the team in Chiang Rai! They waited even the plane was delay and processed in all very speedy!

Great service, vehicle was ready for pickup on time. I extended my rental with no hassles and deposit was returned ASAP. No complaints about the service what so ever.

The Drive Rental people were awesome! From booking online to answering all my emailed questions (usually within hours) of my sending them. They picked my family up at the Chiang Rai airport in the vehicle that we would be renting. Thus not having to move all our luggage, their office was maybe 5 minutes away, the paperwork was about 5 mins, and we were on our way. I had rented an all wheel drive vehicle online, at we got a very very nice toyota fortrunner, awd. When dropping the vehicle off, I called when I was about 10 minutes from the airport (as they asked) and someone met us at the airport to take the car. I would definitely rent from them again!

We booked from them directly.
The price was reasonable and we used Credit Card promotion to get free insurance.

We called them when we arrived at the airport and the staff came to pick up in 10 min. The staffs are so nice and friendly. The condition of the car was great and easy to drive.

Great choice if you want to rent a car in Thailand.

Fair price and different possibilities for insurance. If you get the super collision damage waiver, it's 5k Baht deposit, 10k otherwise, but they use the credit card for deposit so no cash required.
The car was in good condition.

If you plan to go to the mountains, don't get the smallest car - it could barely make it up Doi Tung.

I wish they had a branch in every city in Thailand! This was my best rental car experience. I was a little skeptical when they picked me up at the airport - they don't have a counter and have to drive you to their off-site location - but everything worked out perfectly. When I arrived they were waiting for me at the arrivals door. The staff are so kind and efficient, and the operation is very professional. The car was new and completely clean. They were easy to contact about my car return, and they drove me directly to the departures door afterwards. I'm very happy I chose Drive and would absolutely rent with them again!

Been using this company for years, sometimes 3 or 4 times a year. Never had an issue with the staff, the cars or had any breakdowns in one of their cars and I've travelled down to Bangkok a few times. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody
