Zz House Chiang Mai

Not worse considering the price, relatively clean and in good condition, located in a relatively quiet cul-de-sac.

The only person providing reception is friendly but not always there.

Generally speaking, the place is quite quiet unless some disrespectful customers are noisy, and this is unfortunately far from being an exception, because all the rooms have absolutely not soundproofed windows which overlook the same corridor, so the notion of calm becomes entirely relative and random.

On the ground floor a covered terrace where a TV constantly broadcasts sports broadcasts, or Thai songs or international variety of an old-fashioned or even syrupy style as well as three hammocks generally occupied by Thais with their eyes glued to their smartphones.nothing very bad, nothing very interesting either!

The bedroom windows are in the bathroom or overlook the hallway, so there is almost no view of the outside.

I have not made the effort to translate my opinion into English so that English speakers who make no effort to speak a language other than their own can appreciate the joys of online translation and its approximate side

Far from the city, room not air-conditioned and no soundproofing.
Watch out for stray dogs!

Awful experience. Boyd re-sold our rooms as prices had risen from when we booked months ago. So glad he did as the rooms are aweful. Avoid.

Price-performance is unique. Very friendly owner, super helpful, we were allowed to check in 4 hours early when we arrived, organized a scooter for us to get to the accommodation and gave us great tips. We felt very comfortable in the Zz House. Thanks for the great stay.

Very comfortable beds, beautiful location right near the river & walking distance to the city. I really enjoyed my stay here.

My stay was more than enjoyable in this family hostel: the staff is super cool and the location allowed me to peacefully explore the surroundings of Chiang Mai on a scooter.
The property is about a 15-minute walk from the tourist heart of the city and the journey is pleasant.

Could not sleep whatsoever, air conditioning was broken despite being advertised as having aircon. The fan was useless and the room was like a sauna. Room was clean but the building and bathroom were were very run down. Would not stay again.

What a bad surprise the bed sheets seem to be used and not washed from previous guests. Disgusting. The private room doesn't have a natural light. However it is close to the train station, 1 night is ok.

I had a 2-week stay there. The place is a bang for the buck. The rooms are clean and comfy. The atmosphere is lovely- Boyd, the owner, is the best host anyone could ask for. I highly recommend the place and wish to return there If I ever get back to Chiang Mai again.

Esta bien para una noche. Las fotos no reflejan lo que es en realidad, las habitaciones son muy oscuras y un poco viejas.
El propietario muy amable.

It is fine for one night. The photos do not reflect what it really is, the rooms are very dark and a bit old.
The owner is very friendly.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed dont know how it had an amazing rating on hotel apps. Bed was rock hard and was told not to use tv because the walls were so thin it might upset other customers.

Boyd was friendly and helpful guy. He help to organize for those who want go to day trip. Scooter rental also provided. **Caution**
For those late riser, the nearby school will confirm wake you up.
Early riser won't have any issue.

Hi.frankly I wanna say.he is easy going and I tookgirl one night but.he didn't say nothing and he is very kind and make it possible evrything what we want. I am from Nepal and mix family. Tibetsn. I am used too whatever comes.be satisfaction

Nice place, friendly owner who you can call. For the price 300 baht we got a big comfy bed, ac and a fridge. Their was a TV in the room but no port to plug in. Only stayed one night but could easily stayed longer. A 7-eleven is 5 min walk Away. Can recommend this place:)

Perfect hospitality, you feel like a friend. Th owner is a good cook, he will serve food in the evening. Rooms are clean, shower and bath work fine. 10 minutes walk from down town over an interesting steel bridge. Try restaurant Lemongrass nearby!
