Been in the bar before but the owner wasn’t there.just been back turns out the owner mark is from my home town.great lad great food and beer and helpful staff! Everytime I’m in Chiang Mai I’ll be back for sure! Mark even let me use his scooter don’t get that in Carlisle!

I ate here twice when I was in Chiang Mai. The owner is very helpful and friendly and staff look after you with fast service.
I had a prawn red curry first time which was Thai spicy like I asked for. Lovely hot dish.
Second time I tried a yellow one which wasn't as spicy but the shocked owner gave me a tray with a selection of extra chilli. Really great curry and I think the Jasmine rice was only 20 Baht.
They have a great selection of beers and also chilled out live music in the evening. Good tunes and not too loud that you can't talk.

I have lived in Chiang Mai for nearly 10 years and have been going to Welcome Inn for over 2 years. Great selection of Thai and western food and never had a problem with the food. Food prices are good. Alcohol prices about average for the area. Owners Mark and Mon are great people. Staff are also generally great and have seen many different over the years. Live entertainment is good but not every night.

Food was tasteless, burgers were the cheapest version we ever had.

Waited over an hour for my food, got given the wrong order and was told it's too busy to have it now. Wasted my time for an awful meal & now I have left, I have realised I was over charged also.

Totally agree with one reviewer. Good food, service, atmosphere and friendly owners. Downside. (and it's a big one). Are some loud-mouthed regulars with zero class, who use the 'F' word far too much while people are trying to enjoy their meal. It is a restaurant after all. Management needs to take charge and nip it in the bud, or lose diners, like me.

Probably not the best place if you are looking to have local Thai food. Ordered chicken Khao soi, was ok, but not great. But I would presume the western menu would be nice.

Great food, service, staff. Spacious seating, open atmosphere. Owners are terrific, customer focused. Only downside are some "regulars", friendly guys, that use the F word more than I like.

Quieter because a little way off the main strip, but well worth a visit for the friendly welcome you receive.

No photos of what we ordered but high recommended! I had a magarita that was very strong and generous with the amount of alcohol. Staff are super friendly and helpful — I chipped my nail and asked for a nail clipper (weird request I know). They spent an effort finding me one. Thank you!

Used to be a regular but then the prices went up 40% on the food, too steep an increase for food that is ok but not that good. Not a good business practice I am afraid

Netty. Was. Here. Stopped in for a full English breakfast! Large portions for low price! Set comes with Tea or Coffee and Juice.

A bright and cheerful place on Loi Kroh, offering a range of drinks, meals and live entertainment when allowed.

The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Often parties are held here with al fresco cooking and dining.

Very spacious and easy to get comfortable here.
