Wat Sri Suphan

Women are not allowed inside, but still need to pay a ticket to see only the outside of the temple, which is also visible from the street. No signs at the ticket office to warn about this. Women are not only excluded, but also scammed here.
The temple itself is beautiful.

A very unique and beautiful temple.

I was very disappointed, however, by the fact that women are not allowed inside even though they also need to pay the 50 THB admission fee. This information should be provided somewhere at the ticket shop.

Although it is not large, it is a really nice temple. Doi Suthep was also a really beautiful temple, but unlike typical Thai temples decorated with gold, Wat Sri Suphan was really impressive because it was decorated with silver filigree. However, women are not allowed to enter the most beautiful Silver Temple. Ticket price is 50 baht.

Fortunately, I went to Suphan Temple (Silver Temple) on the night of 11/25 for the boon Kathin Merit Festival. After we attended the ceremony, we were blessed by the abbot. I prayed that my father would be healthy, continue to maintain his strength, and be my godly teammate.

โดยส่วนตัวก็ไม่รู้ว่าสาเหตุ เป็นเพราะเรื่อง สายมูหรือเปล่า แต่ก็ไม่ได้ เห็นด้วยกับ เรื่องแบบนี้
ถ้านักท่องเที่ยวกลุ่มไหนมีผู้หญิงมาด้วยก็แนะนำว่าให้ผ่านวัดนี้ไปเลย ก็ได้

สวยงามมาก พื้นที่วัดไม่กว้างเท่าไร โบสถ์ด้านหลังพระพุทธรูป ผู้หญิงห้ามเข้า หาที่จอดรถยากมากค่ะ

Truly amazing, a silver temple. Wonderful craftsmanship and fine detail portraying the life of Buddha and images of HM King Bhumibol. The son et lumiare night show is very beautiful and highly recommended.

This temple shines in silver instead of gold, just like the temples on Wuarai Street, which was famous for its silversmiths. The specifications are thorough, and everything is beautiful and has a refreshing elegance.

Beautiful temple. You must visit, the entrance has a cost of 50 THB, they give you a key ring and a ticket for a free coffee.

The temple is very beautiful and different from the rest, which all look very similar. But the fact that women are not allowed inside the temple is ridiculous.

The temple itself is really nice and the area as well. But it is not allowed for woman to enter. Quite backdated and a real disappointment. I thought Buddhism would be more modern. Please change this in the future if possible.

วัดอุโบสถเงินหลังแรกของโลกสวยงามมาก อยู่บนถนนวัวลาย สถาปัตยกรรมมีความอ่อนช้อยสไตล์ลานนา แนะนำว่าให้มาเวลากลางคืนจะมีการเล่นไฟหลายส่องสีเข้าอุโบสถสวยงามมากๆ

วัดที่อุดมไปด้วยความเชื่อทางศาสนาศิลปวัฒนธรรมกล่ออหลอมรวมจิตวิญญาณของช่างมากฝีมือเชียงใหม่ไว้ในวัดแห่งนี้ประดิษฐานไว้ด้วยพระอุโบสถพระพุทธรูป เทวรูปที่ทำด้วยเงินบริสุทธิ

This Wat was beautiful and had 2 giant bodhi trees. The silver look is amazing and don't forget to look at the floor as it is stunning as well but can get over looked. One note as with all Wats women are not allowed in one of the temples and for this one it's the silver one. Here I saw also a Sal tree which is said to be the type of tree the Buddha was born under and supported his mother during the birth.

วัดสวยงามมาก แต่หาที่จอดรถยากหน่อย เเนะนำจอดในวัดหมื่นสารฝั่งตรงข้ามวัวลายเเละเดินข้ามถนนมาจะง่ายกว่า
