Not worth wasting time. It's pointless to go on purpose. Dirty. Nobody cares. All temple visits are closed.
I do not recommend. There are many worthy and well-maintained temples in Chiang Mai itself. This one without a soul and one commerce. The monks go to them anyway, I went looking for someone who would open at least one temple for me during the day
