The temple masters are very nice and you can burn incense here for a small fee. Incense with numbers inside is interesting.

A very beautiful and quiet temple. We only saw the entrance, but the lights on both sides were beautiful and gave the feeling of great tranquility. If you are walking through the center of Chiang Mai, it is not bad at all to stop by.

The bright appearance is very eye-catching. There are not many people visiting and it is very quiet. It also feels like a temple with history.

วัดหมื่นตูม ถนนพระปกเกล้า อยู่ไม่ไกลจากตลาดประตูอชึยงใหม่ สามารถเดินไปเที่ยวชมได้ หากเดินจากตลาดมาตามถนนพระปกเล้า วัดอยู่ทางขวามือ หาไม่อยากเนื่องจากมีพระประดิษฐานตรงทางเข้า เมื่อเดินเข้าไปด้านหลัง จึงจะเป็นวิหาร ขึ้นไปกราบไหว้ เพื่อความเป็นศิริมงคล

A smaller temple than most of the attractions but very unique and pleasantly quiet. If you are walking by on a temple tour, it's worth a 20 minute visit. Beautiful singha statue and very tidy.

มีพระประธานในวิหารเป็นพระคู่แฝด
แต่เสียดาย พระธาตุถ่ายรูปยาก เพราะมีศาลาเล็กตั้งบังไว้

เวลามาวัดนี้ที่ไร ผมรู้สึกเหมือนกับว่าได้ข้ามไป-มาระหว่าง 2 มิติ เพียงก้าวผ่านประตูทางเข้าที่มีให้เลือกอยู่ 2 ประตู ที่กั้นพรมแดนตรงบริเวณ"ลานหน้าวัด"กับ"ภายในวัด"ออกอย่างชัดเจน กลายเป็น 2 โลกที่แตกต่างกันอย่างสุดโต่ง

ลานหน้าวัดติดถนนเส้นหลักที่มาจากประตูเชียงใหม่ รถราวิ่งกันขวักไขว่ ผู้คนสัญจรกันอย่างเนืองแน่น นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติเดินเข้ามาถ่ายรูปและชมความงามของเจดีย์กับวิหารอย่างไม่ขาดสาย ผู้คนพลุกพล่านตลอดเวลา บ้างก็มีพุทธศาสนิกชนมากราบไหว้ สักการะสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์อยู่เนืองๆ บ้างก็มาถ่ายรูปกับมุมที่ประดับตกแต่งด้วยโคมไฟละลานตา บรรยากาศคึกคักมากๆ

ในขณะที่ประตูทางเข้าอีกประตูหนึ่งซึ่งห่างกันแค่ไม่ถึง 10 เมตร นำพาเข้าไปภายในวัดที่มีอุโบสถ มีวิหาร ต้นไม้ กุฏิสงฆ์ มีลานกว้างๆที่สงบ ร่มเย็นอย่างน่าเหลือเชื่อ หันหลังให้กับความสับสนวุ่นวายในทางโลก บอกตามตรงว่าผมชอบมานั่งอยู่ภายในวัดใต้ต้นไม้มากกว่าตรงลานหน้าวัดครับ

(EN) This temple looks good, but there’s much better around Chiang Mai. It’s very small and nothing’s particular.

Very beautiful and close to city center. What I loved about this temple apart from the others is that there is a nice sitting area with beautiful benches, and since it’s not one of the main temples, it was quiet!

Wat Muen Tum located tambon Phra Sing in ChiangMai city, was built around the year 2021.

Interesting temple, especially the fence and entrance gates, richly decorated by mythological animals.

Two stars might seem a little harsh for this place, but I've ranked over thirty Temples now and I have to allow enough scope to award the highest number of stars to the most exceptional Temples.
Not much to see here, but it could have earned three stars had the Temple buildings been open.

และที่นี้เป็นวัดเดียวในเชียงใหม่ ที่มีพระประธานพี่-น้อง 2 องค์อยู่เคียงคู่กันในพระวิหารเดียวกัน หนึ่งเดียวในล้านนาเลยค่ะ

ใครที่ไปเที่ยวถนนคนเดินวันอาทิตย์ที่ท่าแพ สามารถแวะไปสักการะ หรือชมปฏิมากรรมของประตูทางเข้าวัดได้นะค่ะ

เป็นวัดเล็ก ๆ อยู่ใจกลางเมืองเชียงใหม่ อายุกว่า ๕๐๐ ปี.
อยู่เชียงใหม่มาตั้งแต่เป็นเด็ก. ผมได้กลับมาเยือนวัดหมื่นตูมอีกครั้งเมื่ออายุขึ้นเลข ๗ เพิ่งได้เห็นคุณค่าของการมาเยือนคือได้เห็นวิหาร อุโบสถ และพระเจดีย์ที่งดงามยิ่ง.
หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าเมื่อสิ้นสุดปัญหาโควิด 19 (Post Covid) เชียงใหม่จะกลับมาเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวอีกครั้ง วัดหมื่นตูมจะก็ยังคงอยู่คู่เชียงใหม่ตลอดไป.
ทุกอย่างสมบูรณ์และงดงาม ไม่จำเป็นต้องปรับปรุงทาสีทาแสงอีกแล้วครับ

Wat Muen Tum is one of the smaller temples inside the old town of Chiang Mai. First you see when you arrive is the impressing wall with the entrance porch. Enter the site and you see a nice temple with a very special shaped chedi. Worth for taking some nice photos.
