Viengping Mansion

The pool isn't open and the building's drains get a 'pongy' smell. Some of the apartments are nice though.

All depends on the apartment you are, I got the Change to know 4 apartments, one was very simple, but some were very nice. It is good value, great location, right next to a nice shopping mall, and also veri near to Nimman which is a nice area

Good price for small apt.with kitchenette. Near the mall. A bit run down and though they are responsive on the phone check-in is a bit more stressful than a hotel where the front desk is right there to help with issues.

UN DESASTRE / ESTAFA / NOS DEJARON EN LA CALLE. Me pasó lo mismo que ya comentaron. Reservamos por Avantrip, nos llegó el voucher, todo normal. Cuando llegamos a Chiang Mai, resulta que en el edificio no hay nadie para recibirte. Sólo una señora que sería de "seguridad" la cual no supo informarnos nada, nos dijo que llamemos por teléfono pero no sabía a qué número. Encontramos en internet un número de Vienping y NUNCA nos respondieron las llamadas ni whatsapp. Nos dejaron literalmente en la calle con los bolsos. Por suerte, luego de reclamar 5 horas con Avantrip, nos enviaron a otro hotel ya que ellos tampoco pudieron ubicar a los dueños de este lugar. Es increible que páginas tan reconocidas como Avantrip, Booking, Tripadvisor ofrezcan este lugar.

A DISASTER / SCAM / THEY LEFT US ON THE STREET. The same thing happened to me that they already commented. We booked through Avantrip, the voucher arrived, everything normal. When we arrive in Chiang Mai, it turns out that there is no one in the building to receive you. Only one lady who would be "security" who did not know how to inform us anything, told us to call by phone but did not know what number. We found a Vienping number on the internet and they NEVER answered our calls or whatsapp. They literally left us on the street with our bags. Luckily, after claiming 5 hours with Avantrip, they sent us to another hotel since they could not locate the owners of this place either. It is incredible that pages as recognized as Avantrip, Booking, Tripadvisor offer this place.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. It books like a hotel, which we did through Expedia (thank God!). We arrived a family of five with five suitcases. Our driver dropped us off and left only to realize that NO ONE was there to receive us. The people who live in the reception pointed us to a sign saying they have no idea and they are not responsible. Thank God our reservation was through Expedia and we were able to cancel it and find an alternative which happened to be the last room at Baan Sang Singh. A lovely accommodation and saved our life from being stranded with children and a ton of luggage. Nothing of what seemed to be the case on the reservation was actually real! This is a sham! Do not trust it.

I placed an order on agoda two weeks before my stay and due to the bad reviews of this place, I wrote to confirm that the checkout amount was the total price, but got no reply.
Two days before check-in, I suddenly received a letter saying that utility bills need to be calculated separately, and there was no response to the inquiry. In the end, I had to urgently find other accommodation within a day.

As stated in reviews, the building itself is rather old and rundown. Many pictures are photoshopped. The pool is not at all what the pictures show, water dirty, cement slab with a few chairs, and you have to pay additional 50 baht, which considering the green, cloudy water is not a good bet. Our room was modern and updated, but the mountain view is thru the bathroom window. Adequate but not particularly good.

Great location next to Maya Shopping Center, Restaurants, Coffee Shops & trendy Nimman area. Its an older building, but our condo was immaculate. It seems like most of the mountain facing condos are newly renovated and bigger than the newer condo buildings in the same area.

Bring your own hammer and percussion drill and you can join in all the renovation noise that sames never ending! Won't be returning.

The company that owns and rents these places are what is wrong with everyone being able to advertise property. It's all about getting their hands on your money and not about providing service. I had a error with my reservation that I tried to change the date. They were unable to host me the night I needed and then they charged me 50% even though they couldn't provide what I needed? !? ! It is called GREED!
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I believe they would steal food from the poor if they were given the chance.

ที่พัก อยู่ในซอย. เงียบสงบดี. รถวิ่งไม่เยอะ. ถ้าชอบความเงียบ. ที่นี่เลย.

The building is located on a busy road and if your condo is not on a quiet side be ready for a crazy laud traffic noise almost 24/7. Bikes taking off at traffic light makes you wake up ten times during a night.
Swimming pool is old, the shower doesn't work and the sunbeds are super old.
The good thing is the building is located next to Maya Mall and Nimman area which was pretty convenient.
