The Three Kings Monument is located directly in front of the Chiang Mai Cultural Center. It is a famous statue of the Three Kings. It commemorates three figures who made significant contributions to Chiang Mai-Emperor Ramkhamhaeng, King Menglai and King Nanmeng. They are the most important figures in the history of Lanna. Located directly in front of the Chiang Mai Municipal Art and Culture Center is the famous Three Kings Monument. Before the founding of Chiang Mai, it was established by the three kings of northern Thailand after consultation, mainly as the capital of the Lanna Kingdom. The Three Kings Monument depicts the images of the three kings vividly and is the most important monument in Chiang Mai. There are some confessions under the statue, and fresh fruits, incense and flowers are placed to show respect. No matter it is day or night, you can see devout people kneeling and worshiping here.

Slippers are required when going to the altar in front of the monument to worship, and do not play with the tributes on the altar.

Historic sight.
I recommend you to buy something to eat before you hit the place. Not so many place offers seat and shade that you can enjoy food outside.

Beautiful monument. I also added a few pictures because on sunday night, the street is transformed into a big market. It's very cool to witness the change and to walk around the area. It's great place to eat local for cheap and to incourage the local community.

Very nice place, is the main square of chiang mai. Is an original city which is being consumed by too many tourists.

Historic place. Monument of the three founding fathers of the city of Chiang Mai. It's very peaceful during the day. However, on Sunday Nights is very lively and festive with concerts, dancing and other activities.

Its a nice monument with a lot of space to sit and move around, click selfies and pictures. During any celebrations in Chiang Mai this is the place that always gets decorated and has events related to the festival.
