Rai Siwavej & Farm Stay

Wonderful and pretty place run by a friendly man man who works hard to make you feel at home. Very peaceful and rustic setting, we would be very happy to return!

A beautiful farm with a pastoral river that runs through it, the owners of the place are Woj, a hardworking man who built every corner there and planted every tree with his own hands over the years and his lovely wife, instead of sweet cabins with toilets and showers inside and a balcony near the creek, chickens in the yard and two sweet dogs, the cabins have a fan, We were in relatively cool weather so we did not use it, there are also tents for rent for those who are interested, the place has a kitchen for the use of the guests and expensive breakfasts that are included in the price of the accommodation (which is written on the cabins themselves 600 baht) a completely decent price, every morning Wage prepares an expensive fruit salad the most (with an interesting combination of fruits including avocado and sweet potato), excellent yogurt made by himself, in addition there is bread and jams and honey that he also prepares with love and because we were waiting for tax days he also generously offered to do laundry for us free of charge, finally also gave us a ride to town, it was magical and joyful to immerse yourself in the nature and greenery in this beautiful place. You have to take into account that the farm is far from the city, so it is recommended to organize cooking supplies beforehand or to rent a scooter. And just a 10 minute ride on a scooter from there there are free hot springs, simply tubs that are placed in the middle of the forest near the stream and hot water is poured into them, the upper one is the warmest and cleanest:) At night it is less recommended to walk there for those who have an interest in dogs barking in the middle of the road, worth a visit. We were really happy to stay at Voge's place Noam and Ella.

Amazing place for staying! Full connection with the nature and culture of Thailand! Vej and his wife are wonderful people who care for guests like for family members I was in my trip alone but never felt lonely because of this family hospitality! They treated me like an own daughter I so appreciate this and so grateful!

I choose to stay in a tent near water flow and I liked that experience a lot! The view from my tent was amazing And every morning I visited the hot springs which is so close to the farm!

There are so many good things to say about Rai Siwavej. The view of Doi Luang Chiang Dao. The beautiful and quaint farm surroundings. The proximity to the hot springs. But I think the best part is how warm and welcoming the owners are. Incredibly warm and welcoming. The vibes are nothing but the best here.

Very close to the cement hot spring ，The room is built on the creek, this is a very low-key homestay, the location is very good, sleeping at 25 degrees Celsius at night, very comfortable! There is no need for air conditioning, listening to the sound of the stream, the chirping of insects and frogs, it is very easy to fall asleep. The owners are a couple! Very warm and friendly! Treat us like friends, have a rich breakfast, and you can order food when you come back from dinner! It is healthy and clean and happy.

You should sleep here if you are looking for relaxation!
The hot spring is close by in walking distance. The accommodation includes a breakfast and you can cook by yourself if you want.
The staff is very nice! Always try to make you feel satisfied.

The perfect quite getaway around Chiang Dao. The Farm of Rai is so beautiful and well maintained. His bungalows are very charming and in perfect condition. Although he has multiple bungalows and area for tents you have a 100% privacy. You can help yourself to coffee or tea all day long and use the kitchen. If you are feeling social you can hang out at the kitchen terrace with other guests. The river gives a great soundtrack to it all and is lovely to cool yourself down. The breakfast is full of jummy fruits, yoghurt, toast and jam. Just perfect.

Lovely people are running this place. Set in wonderful nature along a little stream this place is very calming and tranquil. Cute little bungalows should be perfect for those who are happy with a simple but clean accommodation. With a scooter Chiang Dao town can be reached within 10 minutes as well as numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. But the main reason why you should stay here is the beautiful atmosphere the owners have created. Very much looking forward to coming back again to this place someday in the future.

Amazing place, cabins are right on the river. Beautiful surroundings, close to hotsprings. 100% recommend if you want to relax in nature.

Very healing place for my soul. The farm is near to hot spring and the room is right beside the stream.
The owner couple r very helpful and offered lunch and dinner although I only paid for room with breakfast.

This place is so perfect, beautiful bungalows next the river, sleeping with the sound of the river is so healing, we sleep so well, many bamboos and trees give shade so it’s cooler than the town, even need to use two blankets offered when sleeping. The owner is very very kind and respectful, we can feel his love of his farm, he maintaining this place very well. There are some chickens and two friendly rescued dogs here. This is a place we would definitely come back next time we come to Thailand.

The owner treated me like family. Sweetest man ever. Prepared me breakfast and coffee and had beautiful conversations.

My first day i was practicing my saxophone on the balcony and he came and brought me noodles saying “you must be hungry, eat:) ”

Farmstay in the countryside in a beautiful location. Well designed huts by a small river surrounded by nature. Delicious breakfast of fresh fruits from the farm and home made yoghurt. One of the highlights of our trip to Thailand.

Our stay was relaxing, comfortable, and rejuvenating.
The owner is very friendly, polite, and accommodating. The breakfast was filling and fresh. The bungalow was spacious, clean, comfortable, made from nearly all natural material, and had hot water/strong wifi. The farmstay itself seems expansive and very well maintained.
My partner and I clearly got lucky by visiting at a quiet moment. If arriving for the hot springs, they are close and you won't be disappointed by those either.

HIGHLY recommend this place. The host made the whole trip. Very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful view of the stars at night

Quiet and peaceful place in the middle of nowhere. Perfect if you need to relax. Hot springs are just around the corner.

One of my favorite farm stays in northern Thailand. Family owned farm with lots of charm. Rooms are quiet and cozy, a great place to get away. The host was incredibly kind and generous. Be prepared us the most lovely breakfast and also
built us a campfire to enjoy in the evenings. Great homemade honey and mango jam. Will definitely be returning here.

Lovely fresh from farm breakfast and homemade yoghurt plus the owner makes you feel at home. We can use his kitchen all day and we can shop for fresh local products in the nearby market.
Enjoy nice walk, hot spring and the beautiful drive coming in from the main road…

Amazing place. Super friendly down to earth owner. I can't reccomend this place more if you stay in chiang dao. Healing. Amazing energy. In the middle of nature
