Honestly, I was looking forward to it the most during the Mae Kamppeng tour because it was said to be the tripe of a lifetime, according to YouTube and other reviews.
First of all, I read in another review that they start grilling tripe skewers around 12 o'clock, but they didn't start grilling until almost 1 o'clock. And the tripe I received right after the first batch was cooked was only medium-cooked, so it was so-so.
And this is not the tripe (looks like beef tripe, but is actually pork trumpet tube) sold at places like Ttengtto, but just the pork tripe that goes into Korean stir-fried vegetable tripe. It contained oil-filled tripe, just like daechang, but it didn't taste like the usual small intestine flavor.
If I go later, the line will be too long and there won't be a place to sit and eat, so I took a seat a little after 12 o'clock and sat first and then ordered right away.hmm, this is not good.
Later, around 3 o'clock, I went and the tripe was grilled for a long time, so it was smaller in size, but it looked much more delicious when all the fat was gone and the color became darker. I think everyone who reviewed these tripe skewers as the best skewers of their lives ate very well-cooked tripe skewers. And that's because this store is at the entrance to Mae Kampeong and close to the minivan pick-up and drop-off point.
As I walked up the hill, I found another restaurant that, although smaller, served grilled gopchang and cocoon. Anyway, if you are going to eat it, try eating it when it is already fully baked, not when it has just started to cook. I bought sticky rice and beer from somewhere else and ate them together. When I saw other customers, they also brought out food they had bought from other places and ate it together. The price was 10 baht per skewer, a large bottle of beer was 70 baht at the store right next door, and I was able to get a free ice cup as well. Was Sticky Rice the store next door? I bought them for 10 baht each at a place that sells grilled sausages.

The grilled tripe was out of this world. Totally recommended! (Subjective of course) I probably thought I was crazy because I ate like crazy by myself.
