Moon Dragon Hotel

Had a wonderful stay with Moon Dragon in Chiang Mai. The location is absolutely bang on, with major landmarks accessible via walking. Wat Chedi Luang is literally 4 mins away. The quality of the rooms and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location, very comfortable mattress in the room, we slept like babies) friendly staff) but the water in the pool is wildly cold.this is for those who have children and expect to spend time in the pool.overall, it’s very cozy and comfortable in this hotel:)

Easy to find, great walking distance in the city to all amenities, staff were super helpful and nice, pool is refreshing, house keeping staff are efficient and friendly. Would absolutely stay again, beds are comfy, room is quiet, the Sunday night market sets up right on the street outfront, but it was quite in our room still which was a nice plus.

We spended five amazing days here with our family. It worth every penny. The location is perfect, is very clean, the stuff is so friendly and helpful, is quiet, charming and full of light. The pool is clean with perfect temperature.

We will come back!

Stayed for 2 nights as a couple during honeymoon.
Value for money: 9/10
Cleaning: 8/10, the shower smelled a bit, but the room has been cleaned. However deep clean was missing (door rails, AC and shower drain).
Staff: 10/10, gave us late check out without extra charge for flight convenience.
Location: 10/10. Well centered.
Amenities: 10/10. Pool was great, open but shaded and pretty clean.
Breakfast was missing.

Great hotel, would stay again. Staff are helpful. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The pool needs a bit more cleaning but it’s good enough for off season. Good location - I even walked with luggage from the bus terminal.

I would recommend the Moon Dragon. We had room 401 on the top floor for our family of 4 and it was great. Very nice and contemporary styling with obvious recent remodel. Very open and spacious. Two bathrooms.

Convenient location for Sunday market in old town. Just note that it can be a little loud during the market but that is expected.

It was a great experience staying at their hotel. It a small hotel without much facilities, the room design and cleanliness can be compare with 4 star hotel. Staff in the hotel are friendly and welcoming.

Location of this hotel is superb! Sunday night Market It literally at your doorstep. It location at the heart of the old city go around by foot make it much easier! Save money on transportation.

Slightly downside of this place it that I was assign to the room facing the road, if you are a light sleeper request inner part of the hotel. Even the traffic is not much but somehow is disturbing when the vehicle drove pass.

Wonderfully located and so central to, everything! Literally walking distance from the many tourist companies and for us the reason we’d traveled there, the Sky Lantern Festival. A great location because it’s near 7/11 and the Nawarat Bridge where we got to partake on the river festival. Beside it being so central and within the Old City, the hotel is just absolutely gorgeous! A pool inside next to beautiful green vines and our room had a massive bed with a balcony over seeing outside with amazing view of the mountains. The staff is so incredibly friendly and the fact that for a small fee you can have them do your laundry and go home with clean clothes is a definite plus! They cleaned our room daily and even helped me get dressed in their traditional Thai clothes for the festival! Even better, they braided my hair! Talk about excellent customer service. I can’t wait to go back …

ทำเลดีมาก ถนนคนเดินวันอาทิตย์หน้าที่พัก เดินไปวัดเจดีย์หลวง วันพันเตา วัดพระสิงห์ฯลฯ มีสระว่ายน้ำ บริเวณโรงแรมร่มรื่น ห้องพักมีอุปกรณ์ครบครัน ประตูถ้าปิดจากข้างนอกจะเสียงดังไปหน่อย ใกล้ร้านอาหาร เรียกรถไปสนามบินให้ราคาพอๆกับเรียกแก็บ

ชอบการดีไซน์ห้องมากๆค่ะ สวยมาก เรียบง่าย ผสมผสานกับอะไรไทยๆสไตล์ล้านนา ห้องก็ไม่กว้างและไม่แคบจนเกินไป เบาะนั่งสบายมากๆจนอยากซื้อกลับไปใช้ที่บ้าน โลเคชั่นดีค่ะอยากใจกลางเมืองเชียงใหม่เดินไปเที่ยววัดละเเวกใกล้เคียงได้สบายๆ

ตอนไปเราจองห้องวิวสระค่ะน่าจะเป็นห้อง Deluxe นั่งจิบกาแฟตอนเช้าได้บรรยากาศมาก อาหารเช้าก็อร่อย มีกาแฟสดให้กดเองได้ด้วย เราลงมาทานข้าว 1 ชม. ขึ้นไปห้องแม่ย้านทำความสะอาดห้องเสร็จแล้ว ๆวมากๆค่ะ ปลื้ม

แต่ขอหัก 1 ดาวนะคะเนื่องจากว่าห้องน้ำเป็นกระจกใส เราไปกับแฟนก็จริงแต่เวลาอาบน้ำเราก็ไม่อยากให้ใครเห็น อย่างน้อยควรจะมีมู่ลี่ไว้เปิดปิดบ้างเนอะ และอีกอย่างคือไม่มีที่จอดรถและหาที่ตอดยากมากเนื่องจากอยู่ในตัวเมือง จอดได้เป็นวันคู่และคี่ต้องคอยสลับจอดรถอีกฝั่งตอนเที่ยงคืนทุกวันที่เข้าพัก แต่ก็ฝาก พนง. ช่วยเปลี่ยนที่จอดให้ได้ค่ะ

The Moon Dragon Hotel was a great base for my stay in Chiang Mai. Many gorgeous temples were within a block or two and it was an easy walk to get from the hotel to anywhere in the Old City. My room was spotless and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The Sunday Night Market takes place right outside and adjacent to the hotel is Mango Mania, a great place for an afternoon snack. As a solo traveler, I appreciate having someone always available at the front desk, and the staff was always helpful and friendly.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Our bed was comfortable although the room isn’t completely soundproofed from outside. Amazing location and an easy yummy breakfast!

ภายในห้องดูสะอาด คลีนและอบอุ่น มีกลิ่นอายของจีนเล็กๆ วัสดุที่โรงแรมเลือกใช้เกรดดี ดูแข็งแรง น่าใช้ หน้าห้องมีที่นั่งเล่นตลอดริมทางเดิน ชอบตรงจุดนี้มาก การบริการแม้จะเจอปัญหาจากลูกค้ามากมาย แต่ตอบคำถามตรงประเด็นและให้ความช่วยเหลือดีมาก ข้อเสียที่เป็นจุดตายเลยคือ ไม่มีที่จอดรถ ลูกค้าสามารถจอดริมทางได้ชั่วคราวเพื่อส่งเพื่อนๆลงไปเช็คอิน ขนกระเป๋าลงหน้าโรงแรม และต้องขับไปหาที่จอดบริเวณอื่น เช่น จ่ายค่าเช่าจอดรถกับทางโรงแรมอื่นๆ แต่มีบริการให้พนักงานขับไปจอดให้ก็ได้นะครับ เขายินดีบริการและให้คำแนะนำ ช่วยเหลือดีมาก

ด้านทำเล โรงแรมแห่งนี้เหมาะกับนักท่องเที่ยวแบกเป้เดินทางมาก ถ้าไม่ได้ขับรถส่วนตัวมาถือว่าคุ้มค่ามากครับ อยู่ตรงถนนคนเดินวันเสาร์ ตรงนี้ชิลมากๆครับ สะดวกในการเดินช็อปปิ้ง ซื้อของกิน มาเที่ยวถนนคนเดินแนะนำโรงแรมนี้ครับ

Great staff, great location, taxi and tuktuk drivers knew where to find it. Sunday walking market on the doorstep. Clean and comfortable with an amazing pool. Bathrooms clean, but no privacy as the walls are smoked glass and pretty much see through

The best location in Thaphe (old city)! But so much crowd on Sunday cuz of Sunday market. 올드시티 최적의 위치! 단 선데이마켓의 복잡함이란.

This hotel was a great value. The rooms are very clean and staff was very friendly. It's also a great location for walking around

This hotel was AMAZING! The staff was super friendly, the day desk clerks (sorry I forgot your names) were beyond helpful. Directions to amazing restaurants, helping us locate special souvenirs and arranging transport - then even came to bring us our phone we left in the lobby because they knew where we were! If that’s not going the extra mile, I’m not sure what is! The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel, maybe even better than home. VERY CLEAN rooms, pool, and common areas. Friendly security 24/7 and a great location. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy Chiang Mai. Thanks again, everyone at Moon Dragon!
