Mae Jo Market

Awesome little local market we got taken to on a cooking lesson. Shown what all the different vegetables, noodles, rice and fruit were and explained when to use them. Very different from the normal tourist market so worth a visit anyway to get a few things to eat during the day. Not sure if there was anything other than raw ingredients here though.

We came here with our cooking class to look at veggies n spices. Very clean and friendly with a good selection.

Loved this place! Great Isan sausage, excellent fruit choices, sweet ladies to help with choices on various foods, I wish I could go back more often.

I was here 12 years back and it was a good market. Now not even half full of vendors. Maybe just the wrong time of day I am not sure.
Lots more around much better.

Nice, tidy local market with a tiny Temple and a separate room for fish and meat stalls. Nice atmosphere and cheap tribal clothes aswell

เป็นตลาดค่อนข้างจะกว้าง มีของครบทุกอย่างที่ต้องการ ลูกค้าแน่นตลอดวันเพราะอยู่ตรงข้าม ม. แม่โจ้ นศ ออกมาหาของกินตลอด ส่วนตัวจะเป็นจุดพักเติมพลัง กลางทางระหว่างออกไปปั่นจักรยานกับพวก อาหารเช้าเบาๆๆ กาแฟ ไข่ลวก ขนมไทย ดีครับมาไม่ผิดหวัง

Variety of consumable items and garments are available. Vegetarians can find their favourite vegetables in wide range.

Not the best market in the area. The meat is not really clean here and the vegetables are not fresh.
