Hotel Loy Chiang Mai

Similar to most of the posts, the hotel is stunning and indeed the staff treat you as family. Quite different from most hotels.

A big plus is that it is 100m off the main party street so it is quiet yet accessible to all.

Breakfasts are excellent where you have a menu rather than a buffet. Quality is top notch and filling.

The building and rooms are stunning, quite new we suspect. Don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t go wrong

Our stay at Hotel Loy was outstanding. I wish we could give them 7 stars. The location was walkable and convenient yet just enough off the main road to stay quiet all day. The rooms and pool and facilites were clean and minimalist and gorgeous. But by far the best part of our stay was the staff. They were so so friendly and welcoming at all hours. They always had little drinks or treats to share when coming and going and they even offered to rub mosquito lotion on my parents feet!

The rooms were well appointed and the pool and gym facilities were outstanding. We would recommend that families or couples choose to stay here and enjoy Chiang Mai in style.

The hotel looks amazing.the staff is very warm and welcoming.we needed help a couple of times, and they didn't disappoint.the location is also great it very close to the action but not too close, so it's also quiet when you want to sleep.

We stayed here for 5 nights. To clarify the staff are lovely. We wanted a room with a bath. This cost more than a normal room. The bath plug never worked regardless of us asking the management to fix. The issue was never resolved. On check out we raised this and management wasn’t there…. And no dispensation was given…we were informed the management would email us. To the date of this review we have still not received that email.

We have really enjoyed our stay here! I came with my parents for a short family vacation. The hotel staff is super warm and takes good care of us. I had to finish a lot of work and felt super comfortable using the lounge area to work, while my parents enjoy the swimming pool nearby. So we can still keep each company.

I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone with a mid-range budget in mind and wants to stay close to the old town AND be in the good hands of the super friendly hotel team. ️

Very nice hotel in a good location, walking distance to both Old town and Night Bazaar. The staff are the best, very friendly, tentative, and helpful, always smiling. The room is super clean. The pool is refreshing. We like this hotel very much. Thanks for your hospitality

We loved our time at Hotel Loy. It’s airy and modern with traditional Thai touches. We particularly enjoyed the fresh, healthy breakfast each morning. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well. Walking distance to the city center. What a great stay!

Very nice hotel with super friendly staff. The hotel is well decorated and breakfast was excellent too. We had a very good stay with them and would absolutely recommend this hotel in Chiang Mai!

Location is good, walkable distance to old town and restaurants, hid in the soi so it's quiet from cars and motorcycle sounds. We stayed there for over a week, all the staffs were extremely friendly and kind to us, friendly chit-chats everyday made us close like friends. Service here is the best to mention! Breakfast is great with freshly cooked meals, each person can choose two from their breakfast menu, and they are delicious and beautifully presented. Only down thing is some nights you might find it noisy with poor soundproof of each room, otherwise everything is beyond perfect here.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, the staff was amazing! So kind, helpful and warm. Every time we passed in the lobby, the staff surprised us with tasty treats!
The room was great, the bed was really comfortable.
The breakfast is one of the best we ate in Thailand.

Apart from being in a fantastic location (but away from the noise), the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed over Christmas and there were some lovely little touches like a Christmas raffle! I won a mug!
The decor gave the hotel a nice vibe and the breakfast was exceptional.
Looking forward to staying here next time!

Great place to stay, it’s located within walking distance to night markets, food, courts, bars street, and multiple massage parlors but at the same time its tucked away from the main street and away from the noises. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Their breakfast is amazing it’s not like all the other breakfast buffets.you can order your breakfast from à la cart menu (included with hotel stay) and they’re very generous with their portions.

It's a very good place, clean rooms, soft beds, clean air, if possible, would recommend everyone to stay here.

Loved this hotel in Chiang Mai. It has a great location, staff is amazing and breakfast was great. They did not have a gym at the time of check in, which was important to us, but seems that was something they were working on. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Also, just want to mention that Mo was very helpful and instrumental in helping us set up our elephant and sticky waterfall tour, big thanks for all your help Mo.

Pool is fabulous, spotless clean and well maintained. Nice and cool after a day of sightseeing! A real hidden gem. And the location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk from the walls to the old town.

We ordered some Iced lemon tea and although they had no lemons the lady at the bar ran down the road to the shop to buy some instead of telling us we couldn’t order it. Super nice of her. Would definitely return to this nice chilled atmosphere!
