Hang Dong District Municipal Food Market

Higher Priced than Mae Hia or many other Chiang Mai market.
Very Dark and confusing.
Vegetables and resale items all mixed together.
Brocolli 20 Baht higher than MaeHia

My family came to Chiang Mai and visited Hangdong Market close to my house to buy fruits.
It was my second visit, and the fruit price was much cheaper than the mart and the fruit taste was good.
Maybe it's because there's a roof, but it feels cool when you go inside, but it's so hot that you sweat when you choose fruits.
It was cleaner than I thought and easier to park.

ตลาดสดสำหรับ ชาวบ้าน ติว่าทางเดินสำหรับคนซื้อแคบมาก เดินสวนกันเป็นชน เพราะดันจัดโต๊ะ พ่อค้า แม่ค้ากว้างเกินไป ควรแก้ไข

แถวหางดง มีตลาดนี้ที่คนพื้นถิ่นมาซื้อของสดกันมากมาย จ่ายตลาดกันราคาถูก เดินเข้าออกง่าย สะอาด น้ำไม่ขลัง พื้นไม่แชะ ไม่มีกลิ่นคาว เดินซื้ิอ ข้าวปลาผักสดเนื้อสดอาหารแห้งได้ตลอดเวลาที่เข้าไปเดิน โดยรวมแล้วเป็นตลาดสดใหญ่

A very nice market go there often the shoe shop at the back is very good and generally can find what you are after

Market for fresh vegetable and food. End of the market is where all the local street foods are. Open to late night. From sushi to local thai dishes are found here and very cheap and delicious.

สงสารแม่ค้าแต่ก่อนคนมาเทียวก่อนดอยอินทนนท์;จอมทอง;บ้านถวายฯลฯทุกวันจะมีคนตอนเช้ากับเย็นกลางวันเงียบสงบ

ตลาดสดเทศบาลหางดงเป็นตลาดใหญ่มีสินค้าทั้งอาหารแห้งอาหารสด ค่อนข่างครบ รวมถึงพืชผักที่ชาวบ้านในท้องถิ่นปลูกตามถดูนำมาวางขาย ตอนเย็นๆแถวหน้าตลาดจะมีขายอาหารตามสั่งและของคาวของหวานให้ได้ชิมหลากหลายร้าน จะแวะซื้อกลับไปทานที่บ้าน หรือนั่งที่ร้านก็ได้ ต้านหลังตลาดมีที่จอดรถสะดวก ช่วงนี้กำลังปรับปรุงก่อสร้างอยู่อาจจะลำบางนิดแต่พอจอดได้ ส่วนกลางคืนก็จอดตามข้างทางพอได้

ตลาดสดเทศบาลหางดง เป็นตลาดที่ดูสะอาดตา พื้นที่กว้างขวางพอสมควร แล้วก็ร้านรวงอยู่ในสภาพที่น่ารักมาก มีสินค้าหลากหลายจำหน่าย ด้านหน้าจะพอมีพื้นที่จอดรถได้บ้าง และตกกลางคืนก็จะเหมือนเป็นตลาดโต้รุ่งของอำเภอหางดง รอบทิศของตลาด จะมีตึกรายล้อมแต่ก็จะมีช่องทางให้เข้าไปยังตัวตลาดได้

Hang dong local market is such a gem. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here everyday for 2 months. All the locals are very friendly, however, no one speaks English. So come prepared! Everything is very affordable. I recommend the guid diaw and some tum.
Very accessible, open till late and has many coffee shops around the area

If u are ok with insect, the best place for relaxation.lizard and mosquito are everywhere so mind when u book.peaceful land and people always smile.this is the dream land for maybe 3 days ^^

Hang Dong market is a local market with variety of local vegetables with good prices. It also sells fish, pork, beef and chicken.
Grocery stores are also available.

ของสด ของกิน มีให้เลือกเพียบบบ ตลาดนี้ไม่รู้เปิดถึงกี่โมง แต่มาตั้งแต่เช้า ก่อน 7 โมงก็้ปิดกันละ ของกินนี่แบบ หูยยยยย คือดีอ่ะ

Local market, one of the cleaner market (even not excellence but good) shops' owner are local and friendly, things are fair price
Day time: inside the market, the really one, you can find fresh veggie, meat, cake, modern and local sweets, drink, and few rare things, few organic veggies, and also a drug store with genuine and low price
Evening till around 10pm you can catch some thai fast food dishes, soymilk, fresh milk, bbq and some foods as a small walking street

This is my local eating spot. Great thai food cooked all day. Street side food sets up about 5 pm. Daytime many places inside the market to sit eat and enjoy.
