Cafe de Thaan Aoan

I have special breakfast and enjoy very much, and very full of energy power from this food. This located at the corner junction near Jedi Luang temple

We had pancakes with banana and waffles with eggs and bacon. My pancakes were delicious but one half of the bottom pancake was raw in the middle unfortunately. The waffles were really good too.

Good value for money, clean place and very friendly service. We enjoyed a Thai omelette and pineapple/ham/raisin fried rice. Water and fresh orange juice. For the whole thing we paid 300 baths for information.

Just had a drink there. It was tasty and you had a good meal. Service was quick and friendly

Good location. Good food, affordoble price, portion is enough for one person. Restaurant offers variety of foods. Service is good too. Great ambience. We are satisfied with all the foods we order.

Nice outdoor garden. Good location and service. However, food is mediocre while drinks suck. We ordered Thai dishes (kao soi & coconut soup). Americano frappe was watered down coffee blended in uneven chunks of ice. Papaya yogurt smoothie was also very bland. Bill was over 500 TBH with additional 7% VAT on top. So much better food and drink options around. Lots of small businesses to patronize. This place is impersonal and forgettable.

Delicious Thai food with great location and patio. The pastries are also baked in house daily and scrumptious. This was the best Khao Soi and Pad Thai we tried in Chiang Mai. The staff is very friendly and service was fast. We also enjoyed the iced coffee and tea. Highly recommend this gem!

They did not have the dessert I wanted and is advertised on their menu everywhere online. So that was disappointing.
However the vibe and atmosphere of the place are nice, friendly and calm to be in. I would recommend it if you want to go for quick bite. It's more of a cafe. Nice still.

Settled in the middle of a busy road but this place is a gem, both when it comes to the food - delicious, and greenery surrounding it.

This lovely, cute café was our favourite spot to have breakfast/brunch while staying in Chiang Mai! Everything on the menu was delicious, especially the fruit shakes and lassies! We can definitely recommend this place:)

Seems like a good place not too pricey for western breakfast. The toast was very nice and the pancake light and fluffy. Coffee was a little tasteless. Service good.

Very beautiful restaurant bar in which it's possible to have a sweet breakfast with fresh fruits and other more tasty food or having a good lunch with original Thai food.
Personal Is very nice and kind.
If u are in the ancient Chiang Mai, you'd better stop here.

Excellent fluffy pancakes with really fresh bananas! And you haven't been to Chiang Mai, if you haven't tried Khao Soi. Excellent service and beautiful outdoor seating available too, perfect for an alfresco meal. For a truly scrumptious breakfast, look no further than Cafe de Thaan Aoan:)

All good! Food, service, lovely outdoor area and relaxing music make it a must-do. And reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Der Salat war nicht essbar. Ging komplett zurück. Zitronengras so hart wie ein Baumstamm. Fazit, keine Empfehlung.

Nice, inexpensive ac café in the old town, great for a coffee break. Beware, they put cinnamon on the cappu, but without it's very good for the price. The Thai food, however, is toned down way too much for tourists, to the point of blandness.pity

Cool place nice look.a/c inside 96 deg outside. Nice staff. I see locals and expats here for low key chat.
