4Great Hostel/Hotel. It is so convenient for the city centre and the various markets. They have an awseome spa and beauty place at the front of the hotel. The rates are really good and the staff are very helpful.
Food is excellent. Atmosphere is great. Service is good. Value is a bit on the high side.

The rooms look like small cells which you apparently have to lock with your own pad lock to secure your belongings. We had some of our money stolen from our room - not all, just some of it - probably so that we wouldn't notice it was gone. There are so many other great places to stay in Chiang Mai so why not just avoid MD house
We had a nice time. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and showers without any unwanted animal visitors. Over all we liked it here.
