Asama Cafe Chiang Mai

Acting on Bhaksook's recommendation once more, I discovered Asama Coffee & Roastery, a quaint lakeside cafe tucked away in a charming village. Despite its discreet location, the ambiance is delightful. Interestingly, it's owned by the granddaughter of the neighboring Krua Ya Restaurant. While the coveted panna cotta coffee was unavailable, the consolation prize was the delightful coconut cake, proving to be a tasty alternative.

Spacious outdoor seating with roof with nice ambiance. The cafe has a nice restaurant next to it with a small choice of good Thai food. The cafe has a good selection of specialty beans. The cafe's vibe is excellent with white noise, also a lovely pond next to it. Overall, it was a great place for a casual meetup and chit chat.

'Asama Coffee & Roastery' is located in Chiang Mai Lakeland Village (6.5km away from downtown, 15mins drive). We went there for an afternoon coffee break, the view overlook the lake surrounded with fresh green forest trees feels just right for the outdoor scenery

Couldn't believe that we found a cafe that feel like we're in the middle of a mountain somewhere, but actually located in the household village!

One of my favorite coffee shops in Chiang Mai - we love the chilled atmosphere, staff, and of course - the coffee! Very nice espresso & milk quality. I’ve never been disappointed in a drink from Asama!

A cute little cafe overlooking a canal. The place is shared with Krua Ya restaurant next door. A good place for photo taking. You can select your own beans. Their signature coffee tastes great. Savory scone is so so.
