Alastair Mordey helped my family and my son in our most difficult time. My son was a drug addict and has completed his rehabilitation in April. But due to Covid-19 he could not return to home. This made my son lonely, anxious, depressed. Ali has been his counselor and friend during this period. He updated us weekly on our son's progress. Ali Mordey, who set up and runs Alpha Sober Living, could not have been more professional, more helpful, or more knowledgeable. I can honestly say he helped save my client's life. After many negative experiences with various rehabs around Thailand, Ali's outfit is a breath of fresh air, and my client has truly turned a corner thanks to Ali and his staff's dedication, integrity, professionalism and expertise. I cannot recommend him and his outfit highly enough.

After 2 months in primary treatment I accessed outpatient counselling with Ali at Alpha for 2 months following his sober plan for me. Having been at many rehabs and sober houses over the years I can honestly say that the depth he takes you too is beyond anything else available out there in Asia and probably Australia too. I knew Ali from his time as programme director at the Cabin and jumped at the chance to work with him one to one.
Ali's methods are part 12 step and part CBT and part physical. I already had my own training regime but Ali and some of the residents at Alpha jumped in and trained with me and put me through my paces:) haha
On the counselling side, Ali helped me develop a strong set of SMART goals in 4 life areas which I am now putting into place here in AUS. He has helped me on my relationship issues and he is always available to sober coach me here back home doing video calls and going through my issues such as career development and other process addictions which have cropped up from time to time.
The house at Alpha is awesome. It is a super chic urban recovery house in a cool Thai part of town near the river and night market. I should also mention the girls Fihn and Snook who fed me daily on a meal plan of super healthy food, as well as organic smoothies. Thankyou girls.
To Ali and all the Alpha staff and residents. Thank you so much for being there for me. I feel privileged to have been a part of it and continue to be an active member of the Alpha family as it grows.

I am beyond grateful to Mr. Alastair Mordey for helping my brother through his hard time. He was true adviser and consular to my brother and me. As one of the first clients, I wanted to leave a review. The wonderful programme is designed for men in phase 2 of recovery, so I spent 6 weeks there after being in rehab for 2 months. It helped me to understand the balance between healthy lifestyle, living clean and enjoying life in recovery. Thanks Ali for his professional, honest and responsible treatment to my brother and the family. My brother stayed in Alpha Sober Living during the pandamic Thailand lockdown periods. It was a worrying period, for his mental health conditions and safety. Ali is great human being who truly cares for his client. I was stuck in Thailand during Covid-19 and had bad days feeling lonely and missing my family. I believe this caused me to relapse after my rehabilitation. However, Ali truly supported me and was my should to lean on. It has been 2 months after my relapse.i feel better each day thanks to Ali.
