Steve's Steak Bar

Wanted sundowner cocktails but silly Covid restrictions on alcohol meant I wasn't getting any. Didn't have a meal there but will be back again when I visit Laem Sing and hopefully this pandemic will be behind us all.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Steve from the UK is extremely knowledgeable about the area and speaks Thai fluent. Really good service and the delicious food.

Regarding the no beef issue.this is Thailand. Most of the customers are Thai. I'd rather have a fresh pork or chicken steak than a frozen beef steak any day. The food is excellent and the price is right.

Very nice atmosphere, clean and spacious. Friendly owners. Good burgers. Good Khapao. Just off the beach. Easy to find.

Yes I agree this is a good bar and restaurant with a great location to boot. But I agree with the 2 previous posts about no steak here. Steak means beef. 99.99% of the time. I didn't have to look it up but I did. Oxford Learners, Cambridge, Websters, all describe steak as beef. Now I'm sure you will be able to find a no name rooty-poot dictionary online that will tell you otherwise. If you look hard enough.

Super friendly guy. Steve's is a good place to chill in this quiet little hamlet or a good pit stop for bikers.

Steak house with no steak. Special out of stock at 7pm and very mediocre service. Far better places (and less expensive) to eat in the area.
