10The second time I come here is around lunchtime and everything goes quickly. The guys are the same, 2700, time 10 minutes. This is my 4th borderan, they said I can come again, as long as I pay.

THE PLACE WAS VERY BUSY WITH LONG LINES. DESPITE ORGANIZED BY A GUIDE, IT TOOK MORE THE 3H TO GET THE BORDER RUN COMPLETED. AFTER EADING BACK, THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER SECOUNDARY PASSPORT CHECKPOINT, WHICH WILL COST SOME TIME

Chanthaburi to Ban Laem (Cambodia Border) 200THB. Departure 2PM. Counter 10 is Bus to Ban Laem.
I took MiniVan from Pattaya to Chanthaburi 10PM (at the old Tesco Lotus) for 200THB. Total 400THB from Pattaya to Ban Laem. Arrival border 3: 30PM.
PS: There is also a 7Eleven next to bus station in Chanthaburi.
Border open 6AM and close 10PM. (9PM last Visa)
Cambodia side of border is called Daung.
Cambodia overstay price is $10.
Tourist Visa $35 for 1 month.
If you're a "farang" or a "barang" be forewarned: the Cambodian officials were trying to extort me. They were refusing to stamp my passport and were yelling at me telling me I can't go back to Thailand unless I pay a bribe. When this happens to you immediately tell them you will call the American embassy, it's the only way that they will play fair. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO CAMBODIA, THE COUNTRY IS GREAT BUT IT'S NOT SAFE! Who knows what else those corrupt officials are willing to do for money. Words can't describe how relieved I was to finally be able to go back to Thailand after being yelled at and threatened and held hostage by CAMBODIAN OFFICIALS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
