Zoom Rooftop Bar is located at the top of the JC Kevin Sathon Hotel in Bangkok. This is the right place for lovers of wonderful views and delicious drinks. Their 2 for 1 promotion from 17: 30 to 19: 30 is a great way to start the evening. Drink prices start at 370 baht. The drinks were not only tasty, but also served with attention to detail. The snacks are greasy and rather tasteless, so I would recommend going for just the cocktails.
Despite the note that VAT is included in the prices on the card, 7% VAT was added to our bill, which we only noticed after the fact.

It would have been fine, except that it took half an hour for each cocktail to arrive. The fact that we ended up being very late to meet friends for dinner tainted the whole experience. When we arrived, it was 7pm on a Friday night when there were not a lot of people there (although it got busier as we waited). The music was decent, although a bit loud for conversation. Good view. The one cocktail I eventually got seemed fine.

Don't go here.they say happy hour but then add about 550 baht in service charges to your bill. Even though it wasn't busy, I had to ask myself where the wine I had ordered was. And no one came to take our order for desert or the last drink. I ended up paying at the bar myself. If you charge so much money for service costs, I also expect service.

The rooftop bar was closed due to rainy weather, but they kindly accommodated us.
I'll be sure to visit again when the weather is nice next time.

I stayed at the hotel for about a week and stayed there twice. I actually like it because I don't like complicated things. You can fully enjoy the night view. I am confident that you will be able to focus and have a happy time with your partner. However, please note that there are not many people and it does not have a fancy club atmosphere.:)

Come for the view and leave. Service staff did not care and it showed, coctails were all sugar and no alcohol, food was straight out of the freezer. View was great!

Really good experience, staff were friendly and attentive, drinks were decent and 2 for 1 cocktails and beers 5: 30-7: 30, cocktails were around 370B, and don’t have to be two of the same cocktail, would come here again

The view is good. The place was strangely empty on a Saturday night. Maybe because it’s not the most obvious place to get to. I second guessed myself trying to find it. The food and mocktails were just okay, meh. Service is meh.

The music and the view were amazing! I really enjoyed my time and drinks here. The best dj ever.

Honestly, for the cost of my cocktail, the quality was a bit lacking. I would expect it from something a bit cheaper, but not here. Maybe it was just an off night? ‍️ Also, I almost got shortchanged, but I got it resolved before I left. Gorgeous view though, and I didn't get to try the actual food here yet, so I'll edit if I do.

Coktails were great, and between 17: 30 and 19: 30 there is a happy hour that is really worth it.
Food wasn’t great, ordered a carbonara which was expensive, small dish.

Wer Skylines und bezahlbare Drinks mag, ist hier definitiv richtig. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Thanks to the happy hour, we got 2 drinks for the price of 1.4 stars for the view and good drinks

5 star hotel prices for not 5 star hotel quality
1. Food tastes ok, but we expected much more from such prices
2. The local drink based on coconut water tasted very artificially and was impossible to drink. Changed for old fashioned and it was good
3. The order was messed up at some point - I again received the horrible coconut water based drink
4. The views are very nice but the „ZOOM” logo stickies all over the glass completely destroy the atmosphere. Strongly recommend on getting rid of it

Food expensive, small portions but at least tastes okay. You can't charge 5 star hotel prices when your venue isn't 5 stars.

A pleasant experience.

The staff were well trained, and the scenery is superb. Tip: ask to be seated indoors, as there’s an access door to access the view nearby, the rooftop’s not the only place.

The beef carpaccio was a very nice surprise, the thai dipping sauce gave a nice spicy and tangy flavours which really complemented the richness of the beef.

Drinks were pretty good as well. The signature Secret No. 1 was sophisticated in flavour and aroma profile and was well enjoyed.

Nachos were however, rather bland and not crispy - your money is better spent on other dishes/drinks.

Mocktail Gold mellow: ผสมผลไม้หลายแบบเข้ากับ Ginger Ale รสชาติดี สดชื่นซาบซ่า หอมมิ้นต์
ปีกไก่ทอดเรียกน้ำย่อย: ทอดกรอบร้อนๆ รสชาติทั่วๆ ไป แต่ร้านจะตัดเป็นชิ้นแบบใช้มือหยิบได้ง่ายๆ เลย ไอเดียดี
สปาเกตตี้คาโบนาร่า: อร่อยหอมมัน ไม่เลี่ยนเกินไป แต่ขอติอย่างนึงคือมันใส่ครีม ถ้าอยากกินของแท้ต้องไม่ใส่ครีม แต่จะเป็นการผสมไข่แดงเข้ากับชีสอิตาเลียน เมนูนี้แฟนชอบ แต่ผมไม่ว้าวขนาดนั้น
อกเป็ดอบพร้อมมันบดและเบบี้แครอท: เป็ดเหนียวไปและไม่ได้ให้เยอะถ้าเทียบกับราคา 800 กว่าบาท, ไม่อิ่มเท่าไหร่ ยังดีอบมาหนังกรอบยังพอให้รสสัมผัสที่ดีระหว่างรับประทาน
พอร์คช็อป: มาพร้อมเฟรนช์ฟรายแช่แข็งทอด ผิดหวังอีกเช่นกันเพราะเทียบกับราคาแล้วมันก็ประมาณ ซานตาเฟ่หรือเจฟเฟอร์สเต็กที่ถูกกว่า 2-3 เท่า หมูเหนียวทำให้ใช้มีดตัดและกินได้ลำบากมาก เฟรนช์ฟรายก็ไม่กรอบ แตกรุ่ย ด้วยราคา 900 กว่าบาทผมให้หนึ่งดาวครับสำหรับเมนคอร์สนี้

สรุป: บรรยากาศร้าน พนักงานดี แต่ผิดหวังกับคุณภาพอาหารกับราคาที่ไม่สมดุลอย่างมาก เมนูก็น้อย ถ้าไปดื่มแต่เหล้าหรือม็อกเทลน่าจะได้ประสบการณ์ที่ดีกว่านี้ครับ อยากจะให้ห้าดาวนะแต่โดนตัดคะแนนเรื่องอาหาร

ถ้าถามว่าไปอีกไหม คงไม่ครับ

We reserved on the rooftop that was closed for rainy reasons, and the team placed us on the restaurant, that was ok.
But the food menu and the plates we received were disappointing and the cocktail with no alcohol. Except of the view, I would not recommand.

Unbelievable

I have been here for 3 times. The view is nice, atmosphere is romantic, drink is good, price is acceptable, just the location is little bit inconvenient without any public transportation like MRT and BTS only taxi available. Overall everting here is wonderful!
