YOKKAO Training Center Bangkok & Shop

Just dropped in for a private lesson. I got setup right away with a knowledgeable trainer. He made it fun and kept me engaged. I learned some great techniques, too. No ego here. If you are a beginner don't be afraid to train here. Will stop by again next time i am in Bangkok.

It's a very unique experience. I would say it's good for intermediate level players. I knew it's for serious player yet they said it's also no problem at all for beginner so I go trying. Turn out it's embarrassing as most of the time I were left sitting while all the others seems know well of the agenda and keep moving. It seems to be not a class, but more like a session that some time a coach will randomly walk into you and give you some training. Might be it's the way of how authentic studio works, just the style is not for me. Masters were good. Atmosphere is great.

Amazing experience at Yokkao! First time in Thailand and always dreamed of training in the land of many smiles. I was not disappointed and dreams came true for a Nak Muay wannabe like me! Singdam was an amazing trainer with such immense attention to detail, picking out all of my bad muay habits and helping me smooth them out. It is an experience I will never forget! The shop is awesome too and I'm so happy with all the new collection stuff I bought! Thanks team! You guys were the highlight of my trip in Bangkok! I'll see you again tomorrow!

Only for tourist, not for improve your Muay thay technique, the professionals there train hard but only they, for foreigners nothing to do training, very annoying, I expected a good training, better go to a small gym that really care about teaching, Very disappointed, because I was following them for a long time, in fact I went with the idea of ​​training and sharing equipment etc

Been there to get my boxing gloves and shin guards, would rate it again if I got time to try their boxing class!

I’ve only been doing Muay Thai for a few months but my first experience of the Yokkao training gym was excellent. The morning session was tough but rewarding in the summer heat (lots of water needed!). There were only about 5 others training so it seemed almost a 1: 1 ratio with the trainers who were always on hand to offer tips and advice, all with a professional and welcoming attitude. Hoping to return for further sessions and private training when back in the city!

Fantastic training. All the kru give you a lot of attention here which I love. Some other gyms I’ve been to ignore you while you shadow box or hit the heavy bag. Here if you’re making mistakes hitting the heavy bag the kru will come up to you and try to help you in a friendly way. I also saw the kru be very friendly with beginners. But this is a great gym for serious fighters too. Plus I got to meet the legend Saenchai who was very friendly and happy to take a picture with me. If I ever come back to BKK I’m going back to this gym

I have been here 2 days and so far what an amazing experience! As of right now I only did the morning sessions and 1 private in the afternoon because since I am from canada, I have to get use to the heat (36C° feel like 43C°). Both sessions and the private exceeds my expectations. All the trainers really look like they truly love their jobs and they put a lot of time in myself wich I appreciate so much. The private was awsome and shape toward working on my weaknesses. Got 10 days left wich I intend to do both sessions as I got use to the heat a bit more but so far, amazing.

The training here is so nice，Every coach is a master. I am very honored to be here. Every time I come to Thailand, I will come here！

Spent 2 1/2 weeks training at Yokkao in January of 2018. I found the trainers to be excellent. The group classes are hard work but you also get out of it what you put in. I'd recommend Yokkao for sure. I also found that their products are of high quality and have stood up to daily use very well. Experience was good enough that Ill be returning for a longer stint.

Spent 2 1/2 weeks training here in January of 2018. Excellent experience. Group classes were awesome. Booked many private training sessions as well and found the instruction to be top notch. The gear I purchased while there has held up wonderfully to daily use. I will be returning to bangkok in 2019 and will be doing my training at Yokkao again.

Small place but good trainer, little bit disappointed with the training class, it was Too much shadow boxing on the bag and less real training group

Great thais that train here, that's as far as it goes. I have always trained, all I wanted was a gym in bkk, but this is probably the worst gym I've been to. No manners, they take money, you skip for an hour until you get over it and start doing other stuff. In the last 10 min they hold the pads and tell you how good you are. Never go here unless you want a instagram photo

I visited this training center in November, but didn't train as I was a little sick with the cough and flu. Still, observed the classes with regular people, as well as watching Spencer train hard. Also bough handwraps at 30% off due to black friday specials, and finally met Muay Thai legend Saenchai. It was a good experience at this world class center.

Gym has a bad reputation, almost no customer service and the guy at the front is rude, more of a money scheme however have two Muay Thai legends training here

This place is just interested in making money,
The guys who run this gym have no manners or customer service skills what so ever, plenty of other friendly gyms in Bangkok.

Always a great place to get some Muay Thai training in with some of the best fighters in Thailand!

Recommended for any martial artist. Training alongside world class muay thai fighters for that price is definitely worth it. The thais are really jovial, which also adds to the experience.

The training was a 10. The best I’ve had. I recommend training there. However I purchased some gloves and there was a sale going on and they didn’t give it to me because the owner was not there. I later needed a refund Since I realized I have no room for the gloves in my suitcase. They said NO over and over again. When I asked why there was no signs stating no refunds she said you didn’t ask. Horrible response. Just train there and if you buy something, make sure you really want it. B
