Very crowded area. Most of the famous food all is along the main street, taxi there is expenisve, as they dont want use meter.

A very good exhibition on 2 floors. Very detailed information in Thai, English and Chinese language that you rarely find elsewhere. 2nd floor is about the immigration of Chinese people and culture to Thailand.
Don't rush through it. It will take at least 30 minutes to get all the information. The 3rd floor tells the story of the Golden Buddha to that this temple is dedicated.
A must see to all who are interested in the history of Bangkok and chinatown.

A small but powerfully engaging museum, Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Center is located on the second floor of Wat Traimit or Temple of the Golden Buddha. Your journey starts off with presentation that has you peering into a living room where a Thai-Chinese grandfather begins to tell his grandchild about Chinatown’s origins. His reminiscence sets an intimate tone that piques your curiosity. From there, you are well on your way to discover more.

Gold is not so cheap compared to other parts of Thailand but you get plenty of Chinese food.

Yaowarat Chinatown is the most crowded and great street food in Bangkok. And one of the World’s 8th Coolest street. I enjoyed my dinner with spicy grilled squid?

A worthwhile historical site, the view is beautiful, although the weather is very hot this season, so wear a hat and prepare sunscreen. The scene is open, a bit crowded, but the staff is very quick to support and the entrance fee is not expensive

Great museum about the history of Yaowarat (modern China town). Very much worth the time and entrance fees if you are interested in history of Bangkok. The exhibition is very well done with a lot of attention to detail and lots of information.

Always visit here when I am in Bangkok, great food everywhere, really great atmosphere, can spend hours wandering around the streets and little alleys

Great place for food hunting and food souvenirs. Traffic is extremely bad in or to Chinatown.

Plan your mode of transport. BTS or MRT is recommended during peak traffic hour (5 pm to 7 pm)

Still as bustling with a whole row of carts selling food and mini street performances. Excited cause we got to try the famous crispy buns. Definitely a must try if you do head down to Chinatown. A must visit whenever you head to BKK

Very amazing, I like how it use different Charkri Dynasty monarchs as an era and compare with China, my ancestors are these people who had family in Thailand, l learnt a lot today about my own country.

This is really good museum to read about the Chinese history in Thailand and how they build the golden Buddha and forms the gold. I can rekocomend to visit this museum if you are in Bangkok.
