I had the pleasure of spending a week there and I can only recommend it. The owner (Beer) is very polite and respectful as well as the other trainers. The trainers are seemingly always in a good mood but still professional, overall I don’t see how you could go wrong with this gym especially in such a great location.

Nice Muay Thai club located close to Nana

The staff is friendly and speak well English

Good Muay Thai classes. They adapt the level to each participants, so you might have some new beginners in the group however teacher will adapt the pad and sparring to your level.

Good atmosphere, price for one session was 490 baht. It can be more cheaper if you take more classes

There are 5-6 group sessions per day (close on Sunday) and you can book a 1 to 1 if you need it for a more expensive price

They have a shower if you need to take it on site

Really great Muay Thai gym. I requested a private to help me correct all of my bad habits that I developed back in the US under an MMA gym that gave me inconsistent striking advice from different striking coaches (Muay Thai coach one week and a Boxing coach the next week) that required different stances and striking methodologies for a beginner like me.

At Watchara, Panit Watcharapruk taught my private lessons and corrected my stances and how to properly strike & defend. I continue to practice these forms and drills that I learned in my private lesson and continue to train back in the US. Thank you Panit for giving me my very base in Muay Thai. I hope to return to Bangkok down the road as I would love to return to Watchara Gym to continue my training.

If you're a traveler like me and are trying to get a better idea of what the gym environment is like, everyone in the gym is cordial, and you can see everyone is looking to improve for their own personal reasons. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to get authentic Muay Thai lessons if you're visiting Bangkok.

Great group class energy! The trainers push you really hard, but it’s also not an intimidating atmosphere for beginners which is great. For me coming with no formal fighting experience the trainers were able to adapt the training to suit my needs within the group class.

Super awesome, we traveled to Bangkok for only a few days of tourism and booked a private class for two people together - nice way to catch a breath when the instructor is working on the other person:) Tien, our instructor was very fun and nice. Although it's our first and only class this time, we did manage to go through basic boxing, kicks, spinning elbows, and even sparring with the instructor (shin guards on). The gym is very clean and absolutely female friendly (and it's a pleasant experience even for people who's not used to this type of environment - they train in bare foot but the floor is very clean, etc.)

I think the space is bigger than the pictures showed. We loved it and will return next time we visit!

*Remember to bring your own water. *

Well equipped gym with plenty of professional coaches who push you but also keep it fun. Did a drop in session and they balance the 90 mins very well with hands on training tips and great cardio workout. Would visit again!

An awesome Muai Thai gym, amazing experience. The coaches are super fun and motivating. I’ve been doing Muai Thai for a while, but this gym is definitely better than anything I’ve tried. Would highly recommend!

Great gym! For any level of fighter. I love the vibes in this gym, they will make you relax with jokes around.
It is not serious, but professional.

I did both the private and group section. Honestly both are good. As a beginner you will learn a lot! Also what I have liked is that they let you find your own technique (they don't fuss about every step, as a beginner u would get crazy).

Honestly if you wanna budget and have a longer time, go for the group section. U will learn a lot, as they have many great teachers!

Thank you Watchara!

Took a 1.5 hour duo lesson with my partner here and would recommend. We got a great workout and the instructor taught us the basic attacks and defenses in the martial art. I'm not sure how people do a private lesson because we took turns sparring and the break was appreciated.

I've been here a few times over the years and at first glance this may seem like a tourist muay thai gym but they do actually take the training seriously. You get the padwork in, the PT in, and they'll adjust according to your level.

Great gym, amazing coaches and staffs. The class is very conditioning program but you won't be injured. It's very rewarding and beginner-friendly.

I would say just to avoid this one bald, overweight Asian guy with tattoos on his right arm. He acts like a street thug who wants to bully random people, and last time it was me. One day, this guy who's been coming to gym for 1-week, suddenly interrupts a class by yelling and lecturing me for coming in late. It's actually none of his business whether or not I come in late. I'm 30 and pay my own money to come here and have my own work schedule.

He ended up wanting to take fights outside the gym with no gloves. Personally, I did not want to waste time neither in police station, nor hospital for protecting my ego against insecure guy with 9-years-old brain and 40 years-old overweight body. What authority or business he thinks he has with me lol.

Afterwards, I thought about why he was angry, and the only interaction I could remember with him was me mindlessly saying "yeah" during the training, after he said "I think I lost 1kg of weight today". Didn't have any bad intention to make fun of him, but just making comments to cheer him up. But I think that got to his insecurity, unfortunately- and ended him up throwing s*** on me several times until we escalated it into fight. I haven't seen him afterwards- not sure if he is banned from gym, just left, or return again. I would advise to stay away from him if you see him.

This one special case is not the gym's fault nor the common thing to happen. Just personal case which I wanted to share. Everything in this gym was great. Have everything you need for a shower, indoor to avoid heat, equipped. Mostly, trainers are super fun and friendly, and very knowledgeable. They will teach you many great things. I improved my endurance so much in just a month it's quite amazing. Met dozens of great friends here as well who have great character and personalities. Price and location is good too. I do recommend here. Everything was on the spot.

The gym is hidden in this outdoor food centre.

Opt for drop in - THB 460 per class; slightly under the other gyms that priced at THB 500.

The 90 mins class includes simple warm up followed by introduction/shadow boxing, 6-7 rounds of padwork with trainers, 10 mins of techniques work & 5 mins of cool down.

Both lockers with keys & pigeon holes are available to keep your belongings.

Suitable for both beginners and advanced. Trainers are friendly & polite.

WOW, they really take their Muay Thai serious. My first lesson, I am a complete newbie, talk about getting tossed into the fire. End of lesson I was put into the ring to spare with my trainer on what I learned.
Don't do this if you are out of shape, I run 10k every morning and this was tough.

Great place to try this boxing. I booked my session via Klool but you can also book directly at the gym.

Nice place to experience authentic muay thai classes. Gym was impressively clean, they also provide hand wraps and gloves which didn’t smell v bad.

Great place to train. Their drop in price is a little under 500 THB. They provide you with wraps and gloves. They do warm ups, pad work, and they let you spar towards the end letting you borrow shin guards as well. I highly recommend this gym. Just make sure you book in advance. It can even be same day
