วัดนี้เดิมเป็นวัดเก่าแก่ตั้งแต่สมัยอยุธยา ปัจจุบันมีการพัฒนาและเปลี่ยนแปลงไปมาก เป็นวัดที่มีชื่อเสียงด้านวัตถุมงคลในหมู่นักท่องเที่ยวชาวเวียดนามมาก

ดีครับ แต่ความเห็นส่วนตัวมีครูกายแล้วอยู่ส่วนจัดแสดงพระ ผมว่าไม่เหมาะ เพราะเป็นปีศาจเวตาลเอามาตั้งบูชาสูงเทียมกับพระพุทธรูปและสิ่งมงคลศักดิ์สิทธิ์ อื่นๆ ได้อย่างไร

Boat Temple or Wat Yannawa (Thai: วัดยานนาวา, ​​transliteration: Vát Dan-na-va) is a temple located on Charoen Krung Road in Sathon District, Bangkok, Thailand. This is a unique temple because it was built in the shape of a boat built by King Rama III. The shape of the pagoda was built in the style of Chinese boat-shaped architecture along with Thai architecture, with soaring chedi in the style of Ayuthaya period.

วัดยานนาวา พระอารามหลวงชั้นตรี สังกัดมหานิกาย ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ติดถนนเจริญกรุงเลยคะ

เป็นวัดโบราณ มีมาตั้งแต่ครั้งกรุงศรีอยุธยา เดิมชื่อ "วัดคอกควาย" เนื่องจากมีชาวทวาย มาลงหลักปักฐานอาศัยอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก และชาวทวายจะนำกระบือที่เลี้ยงไว้มาทำการซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนกัน หมู่บ้านบริเวณนั้นจึงได้ชื่อเรียกกันต่อมาว่า "บ้านคอกควาย" นั่นเอง

จุดแรกที่เราจะไปชมกันก็คือ
สำเภาเจดีย์ยานนาวา มีประวัติความเป็นมาอยู่ว่า พระบาทสมเด็จพระนั่งเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 3 ทรงพยากรณ์ว่า ต่อไปในภายหน้าเรือสำเภาจะหายสาบสูญไป จึงทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้สร้างขึ้นโดยสร้างด้วยคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็ก มีเจดีย์ 2 องค์ แทนเสากระโดงเรือองค์ใหญ่ มีฐานย่อมุมไม้ 20 ส่วน องค์เล็กมีฐานย่อมุมไม้ 16 และส่วนของสำเภายาว 21 วา 2 ศอก สูง 18 วา 1 ศอก สำเภาเจดีย์ยานนาวานี้เป็นแบบอย่างจำลองมาจากเรือสำเภาจริง มีอยู่แห่งเดียวในประเทศไทย นับว่าเป็นโบราณวัตถุที่มีคุณค่าทางศิลปะและประวัติศาสตร์ ด้านหน้าสำเภาเจดีย์ประดิษฐานพระบรมราชานุสาวรีย์รัชกาลที่ 3 และจัดตกแต่งสวนดอกไม้ไว้อย่างสวยงาม

เราเดินเข้าไปไหว้พระกัน จุดธูปเทียนแล้วไหว้จากด้านนอก แล้วก็เดินเข้าไปชมความงดงามของภายในกันคะ ภายในประดิษฐานรอยพระพุทธบาทจำลองและพระพุทธรูปปางต่างๆ รวมทั้งพระบรมรูปบูชารัชกาลที่ 3

จุดที่สองมาที่อาคารปฏิบัติธรรมพรหมวชิรญาณ สถาบันแม่ชี วัดยานนาวา จุดนี้เป็นจุดที่สามารถถวายสังฆทานได้คะ ใครที่อยากจะถวายสังฆทานแนะนำมาที่จุดนี้นะคะ

จุดที่สามเราเดินกันไปที่ อาคารมหาเจษฎาบดินทร์ ประดิษฐานพระบรมสารีริกธาตุและสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ต่างๆ บนชั้น 3 ประดิษฐานพระเขี้ยวแก้ว ประดับตกแต่งสวยงามอร่ามตา มีเจดีย์ประจำปีเกิดที่ถูกจำลองแบบมาจากเจดีย์วัดดังในประเทศไทย สวยงามมากคะ

จุดที่สี่แล้วนะคะ คือพระอุโบสถที่มีความเก่าแก่มากๆ และยังคงสถาปัตยกรรมและจิตกรรมดั่งเดิมไว้อย่างสวยงาม เข้าไปกราบไหว้ขอพรกันได้นะคะ

สุดท้ายเลยที่ห้ามพลาด หลังวัดนี้มีท่าเรืออยู่คะ สามารถนั่งเรือต่อไปยังท่าอื่นได้ แต่เรามาให้อาหารปลากันที่ท่าเรือกันก่อน ชมความสวยงามของท่าเรือ เรือ และวิถีชีวิตของคนที่สัญจรทางเรือกัน
