In the midst of busy Bangkok roads one can find peace once you enter the temple. You will love your self and can discover your inner peace. Even thais also visit the temple which tells that all the humans n gifs are the same.
Keep loving every one.
Make peace

Go if you're a religious, spiritual person or if youre interested in the aesthetics of the temple. Do not go if you want to snap some nice pics for your friends at home.
No photos allowed, no tours, rules are enforced.
I found it very beautiful and uplifting in spirit.

Beautiful temple but no photo allowed. Many locals and tourists visit this place. I'd recommend to come early to avoid the heat. There are many shops and cafes around the temple. During the weekends, it can be a bit quiet in the area. Beware of theif and weird strangers.

Very unfriendly temple guards. I believe who does not pray but only looks is not welcome.

Perhaps you have to let yourself be inspired by the constant mantra music and reverently wrinkle your hands to receive mercy.

Felt very unwelcome. Got shouted at for taking a photo even though all around me were people taking selfies. I got told selfie ok but not take photo of temple. How does that make sense? Nevermind, there are plenty of other temples in Bangkok where the people in charge are more welcoming.
