Wat Pho Thai Traditional Medical School

I wasn't very relaxed. It started raining suddenly, so I went in. That was about six years ago.

I received a 30-minute foot massage at Massage School.
The price is more expensive than other places, but the skills are still good. The gentle touch on your feet relaxes you.

As expected of a massage school, the techniques are top-notch and the whole massage is super relaxing.

Great massage 100% recommend! And I enjoyed the temple very much, save on water there's a free cold drinking water machine close to one of the exit doors that is close (not that close) to the message place.

Foot massage 480 baht for 1 hour. It's a bit tingly, but it's as strong as ever and it's standard. He keeps hitting me hard without even taking a break ^^

I visited around 3 o'clock and was given a number as soon as I entered!
They said I would have to wait for an hour, but I was waiting inside for about 30 minutes. After waiting for a while, they told me to come in right away! There are instructions on how to change clothes, but it was a bit difficult haha. My group didn't have straps on their pants, so I think you'll have to be careful when wearing them! The staff were very friendly

I was massaged by a man, and my companion was massaged by a woman. It was just right, not too painful, and she massaged my toes very delicately. The massage process seemed similar, but it seemed to be slightly different for each person doing it! This was the first time I've ever been to a place where you can get a massage while lying on your side! The facility is not very clean or private, and even strangers next to me get massages!

Afterwards, other massage shops were good, but this one was the most delicate and I felt like every muscle was relaxed
Considering the entrance ticket to Wat Pho and the cost of the massage, it didn't seem like it was cheaper than local prices, and we came to see Wat Pho, but if you just want a massage, I heard that there is a massage shop outside Wat Pho run by people trained at this massage school!

If you are visiting Watford and have some time to spare and would like to get a massage, I recommend it

The source of Thai massage art, well maintained, located in historic buildings, price high but worth the visit, enjoyed two wonderful massages.

Definitely go. It's worth it to put on long pants, wait around for an hour or so looking at the rest of the temple complex, and pay a little more than you will on the street. It's a whole vibe, and you should do it.

For foreigners who just came for the massage and not the temple and thus not wanting to pay the 200 baht entrance fee.this is for you. Specially.there is a place right outside of the temple where you can get a wat pho massage.
It's literally right outside, in ta tian, with no lines. And you'd get the same massage there. With no fee.
Most of you could've literally saved that 200 BAHT fee you keep complaining about if you just explored even a little bit.



Ok my review. I love temples and this was no different, tho I came with the specific intention to get a massage. And play with the cats!: D the Siamese are the most friendly and less skittish of the cats and the blacks cats but I couldn't find any that day.

I came in a bit later in the day as my classes ended at 16: 00 they were only able to squeeze me in for 30min and gooodd lawddd if you told me that was 30min I wouldn't believe you. It was sooooo good! I took notes in my head about how to make a good 30min routine it was that good.
My back felt so much better! (We focus on my back as that was my main complaint)
Tho I will remind people that a massage takes time and you can't really expect a massage therapist to be able to get rid of all your stiffness especially if you were as stiff as me (I may be small but I am STIFF!)

Most people complain about wait time but like, bro, you can explore the temple in that time! All you really need to do is to come back 30min before your turn confirm you still want it and wait then!
I had a 2hr wait but I was totally fine with it because unlike some people in the reviews I enjoy the temple and all of its art and history.

Tldr: if you like temples, massage, and cats, go into the temple and pay that 200baht that is used to restore and maintain the temple.
If you don't care about anything aside from a wat pho massage walk around ta tian, there's one right outside where you don't have to pay the damn fee.

Had a 1 hr Thai Massage (body) and it was one of the best massage i had in years. A bit more expensive than the other massage places in Bangkok, but 100% worth it in my opinion

Best massage in all Thailand. Try the place were thai massages were born. Then experiment and compare in the rest of the country.

The massage was great but the entrance to the temple was terrible, the man with long grey hair needs to be fired. So rude, he will lose customers for this place, fire him, he get to angry over nothing, he has mental issues

I had the 1 hour thai massage with the balm, and i was freezing. The balm gives you a feeling of freshness on the skin, which, combined with the extremely cold air conditioning, it's just too much. Beside that I was also in front of the a/c which just make it worse. After I've got the balm over my left arm and leg, I started shaking because of the cold. I told the masseur and he just started laughing. After a couple of times he turned off the a/c but i was already feeling too cold. Get the normal massage, or the one with oil. Or if you really want the balm, make sure to be outdoor. Or in a room with at least 25°C

Worst massage I ever had in Asia (and I had thousands).
Painful, therapist not kind, receptionist didn’t care about my complaint before leaving.

Amazing place.there is a lot of difference between street side massage centers and this one.its a bit high compared to local ones but totally worth it.they know what they are doing you can feel safe in their hands.paid $480 for 1 hr Thai massage

Don't waste money around Bangkok and head straight here.
They are therapist. Not just masseurs. Well worth the money.

I know their massage is good, but as a foreigner you have to pay entrance fee 500 baht before can enter the place. First time i did cause i wanted to see the temple, second time i told only go massage but they don't want to understand you and want you to pay again. The massage is good and not cheap but extra 500baht, no way.

I found out there is another place same like this near Chang Wattana road, somewhere opposite of government area where you also go for visa. Haven't been there yet but post in here when know more about it.

I get massages all around the world and this was the best massage I have ever gotten in my life. If you like strong, pressure point style massages then you will LOVE this place.
