Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram

I visited Wat Benchama Bophit during my stay in Bangkok and was amazed by its beauty. This temple is nicknamed the Marble Temple because it is built with white Carrara marble, which gives it a very elegant and refined appearance. The main building, where the Buddha statue is located, is decorated with magnificent sculptures and murals. The temple is surrounded by a green garden and a cloister which houses a collection of 53 Buddha statues of different styles and periods. I appreciated the serenity and spirituality that emanate from this place. Wat Benchama Bophit is a temple not to be missed if you visit Bangkok. It is open every day from 6 a.m. To 6 p.m. And entry is free.

It is a very beautiful temple. It was a splendid temple that was comparable to the third temple. There are few tourists, so you can enjoy it slowly.

One of the most beautiful Buddhist temples we have visited in Thailand. Very small, but well preserved and nice to visit.

If you only have time to visit 5 temples in Bangkok, this one should surely be on your list. A lavish construction and courtyard of Italian marble, a well kept garden with fountains, a splendid ordination hall with an impressive replica of the famous statue of Lord Buddha in Wat Mahathat in Phitsanulok. Be aware of the dress code, leave your shoes at the entrance and get ready to be utterly amazed.

Beautiful, located at the outskirts of Phuket. Beautiful structures build and an holy place to pray for the bhudist people, on the other part it's a good place to visit for tourists.

This is one of the Bangkok's most visited tourist spot. According to our guide, its made up of different types of exotic marbles. To me, this place has a different atmosphere of calm and peace. Historically, it may have been important enough in the Thailand, it's good to see that Thai people actually do care to maintain their culture along with their metropolitan city life! A place to visit surely!

This was one of my favorite sights to see in Bangkok. The temple was absolutely gorgeous. Not much like it anywhere else In the world. Really was a place to see if you are in Bangkok.

Made from marble imported from Europe, the place is marvelous and spacious, especially its inner courtyard lined with Buddha images. Don't forget to ring the bells when you're there! 50baht entrance fee.

สวยงามสงบเงียบสงบกว่าที่เคย อาจเป็นเพราะจํานวนนักท่องเที่ยวลดลง หรือ ไปถึงช่วงเช้า (10โมงเช้า) แต่ชอบที่จัดระเบียบโดยให้ถอดรองเท้าก่อนเข้าระเบียง/ลานหลังอุโบสถ.

มาทำบุญประจำปีให้บรรพบุรุษ ที่วัดเบญจ กับญาติพี่น้องตั้งแต่เด็กๆแล้วค่ะ อัฐิของปู่ทวดปู่ย่า และญาติพี่น้องที่เสียชีวิตแล้วจะอยู่ที่นี่ค่ะ แต่ว่าช่วงหลังๆไม่ค่อยได้มาทำบุญที่นี่เท่าไหร่ นานๆมาทีค่ะ เป็นวัดที่สวย พื้นเป็นหินอ่อน สมัยหลังมารู้สึกต่างชาติจะเข้ามาชมภายในวัดเยอะ ก็ดีใจที่ชาวต่างชาติชอบสถาปัตยกรรมภายในวัดค่ะ แต่ก่อนสมัยเด็กมีบ่อเต่าตรงสะพาน เต่าเยอะมาก ตอนนี้ไม่เห็นเต่าแล้ว สาธุ สาธุ สาธุ ค่ะ

It is a Buddhist temple. Is the major tourist attraction of Bangkok. It typifies Bangkok's ornate style of high gables stepped out roofs and elaborate finials. It also has a historical significance. Its construction was started in 1899. Temple is built of Italian marble.

Place with Thai's temple authenticity. You'll be amaze by the handcrafts deco on surrounding the temple. Just have a sit in the temple for awhile to observe everything. Good photos can be taken too around the area. But remember to buy tickets for entrance, cant remember how much was the entrance fee.

Amazing temple. Not overly large but the carvings and finishings are exquisite. A wonderful Oasis where one can enjoy the serenity and cool down on a hot Bangkok day. The collection of buddahs is truly amazing.
